June 1, 2015 | A CFTC panel will discuss cybersecurity on Tuesday with a focus on "the appropriate industry response to current and potential" threats. The Market Risk Advisory Committee will take up the issue after Chairman Timothy Massad said in April he expects the agency to propose a rule this year setting requirements for testing by  derivatives exchanges and clearinghouses to ensure they are adequately protected against cyber attacks.
