April 27, 2015 | Top financial regulators and U.S. lawmakers will cross paths with an army of small-town lenders this week as members of the Independent Community Bankers of America come to town to lobby Congress for regulatory breaks Tuesday through Thursday. The bankers will be addressed by regulators, including chiefs of the FDIC, the OCC, the CFPB, and the FHFA. They will also hear from the regulator some view as the "alpha dog" on banking issues, Fed Governor Daniel Tarullo.

Ingredients | 1 teaspoon powdered sugar, 2 oz. Bourbon whiskey, 2 teaspoons water, 4 mint leaves

Preparation | In a highball glass, gently muddle the mint, sugar and water. Fill the glass with cracked ice, add Bourbon and stir until the glass is well frosted. Garnish with a mint sprig.
