Ms Zanda Grauze, Director of Personnel in the Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and participant in the recent European Roundtable for Professional Development in Foreign Affairs at GCSP, shares some advice on professional development:
  • "For the younger generation, my advice would be to not forget that you can learn from the experience of your senior colleagues. For my senior colleagues, I would like to advise them to be open to their younger colleagues. They see the world differently."
  • "Be open and keep a synergy between the two different generations. Then, we are on the right track. Then, we are strong."
