GeniusCentral Systems Announces Headquarters Relocation
and Expansion in St. Petersburg, Florida
Pinellas County, Fla - March 26, 2015 - GeniusCentral Systems, Inc., a leader in retail software solutions and actionable intelligence, announced today that it will relocate to and expand its headquarters operations in St. Petersburg, Florida.
The growing company plans to hire 40 new employees with annual pay scales at or above 115% of the State of Florida Average wage of $42,446. In addition, approximately 60 positions currently in Florida will be retained within the state and transferred to the new St. Petersburg headquarters location at 2232 5th Avenue South, St. Petersburg. This address places the company within St. Petersburg's Enterprise Zone, which along with a High Impact Sector Bonus will allow the company to realize an additional $5,000 for each new job created.

Florida's Qualified Target Industry Tax Refund (QTI) Program could return to the company a total of $8,000 per new job created at or above 115% of the average State of Florida wage. The refund can only be realized by the company after the positions are created and audited to ensure the goals for job creation, wage levels and capital investment are achieved. The obligation for the refund will be shared by the State of Florida, Pinellas County and the City of St. Petersburg, with the State providing 80% ($256,000) of the funds, and the County and City providing 10% ($32,000) each.
