GeniusCentral Systems Announces Headquarters Relocation
and Expansion in St. Petersburg, Florida

Pinellas County, Fla - March 26, 2015
GeniusCentral Systems, Inc., a leader in retail software solutions and actionable intelligence, announced today that it will relocate to and expand its headquarters operations in St. Petersburg, Florida.

The growing company plans to hire 40 new employees with annual pay scales at or above 115% of the State of Florida Average wage of $42,446.  In addition, approximately 60 positions currently in Florida will be retained within the state and transferred to the new St. Petersburg headquarters location at 2232 5th Avenue South, St. Petersburg.  This address places the company within St. Petersburg's Enterprise Zone, which along with a High Impact Sector Bonus will allow the company to realize an additional $5,000 for each new job created.

"This is another win for our community and we're thrilled to welcome GeniusCentral Systems' corporate headquarters to Pinellas County," said Commissioner John Morroni, Chairman of the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners.  "An innovative technology leader, like GeniusCentral, could choose to locate anywhere, but the strength of our Pinellas workforce and the warmth of our diverse community make Pinellas the ideal location for growing technology companies."

"I am so pleased to welcome John Miles and his talented team at GeniusCentral Systems to the Sunshine City," said Rick Kriseman, Mayor of St. Petersburg.  "This company is a leader in actionable intelligence, so I'm sure that they used all of their organization's shrewd acumen to make the best and most logical decision for the GeniusCentral Systems' future growth by selecting the City of St. Petersburg for their new headquarters."

"I'd like to extend a warm welcome the entire GeniusCentral Systems team," said Mike Meidel, Director of Pinellas County Economic Development. "We're ready to assist them as they expand their workforce and create high-wage careers in Pinellas County."

"We're happy to welcome Genius Central to St. Petersburg. They bring a culture of entrepreneurship, innovation and wellness that fits so well with this community and its growth," said Chris Steinocher, President and CEO of the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce.

Florida's Qualified Target Industry Tax Refund (QTI) Program could return to the company a total of $8,000 per new job created at or above 115% of the average State of Florida wage.  The refund can only be realized by the company after the positions are created and audited to ensure the goals for job creation, wage levels and capital investment are achieved.  The obligation for the refund will be shared by the State of Florida, Pinellas County and the City of St. Petersburg, with the State providing 80% ($256,000) of the funds, and the County and City providing 10% ($32,000) each.
