Why the GOP won't challenge vote fraud
Posted on November 15, 2012 by Dr. Eowyn
Friends and Patriots,
It's major duct tape time 'cause you'll need it to keep your head from exploding.
Are you ready for this?
Here we go....
There is now compelling and undeniable evidence that MAJOR vote fraud had been perpetrated in the November 2012 Election. See FOTM's posts chronicling the extensive pervasive fraud by going to our "2012 Election" page below our FOTM masthead, and click on those post links colored neon green.
But our screaming and hollering are to no avail. No one is listening to us. Not even the Republican Party.
Here's why....
The Republican Party made an agreement 30 years ago with the Democrat Party NOT to ensure voting integrity and NOT to pursue suspected vote fraud.
Yes. You read it correctly.
In fact, legally the GOP cannot ensure voting integrity, nor can it prevent vote fraud.
Here's the astounding reason, which is kept from the American people.

BREAKING NEWS! US Prepared To EVACUATE American Citizens From Israel
Three US warships on standby and prepared to sail for coast of Israel
The US has ordered three amphibious warships with 2,500 Marines aboard back to the eastern Mediterranean to remain on standby off Israel's shore in case they are needed to evacuate American citizens. The USS Iwo Jima, the USS New York and the USS Gunston Hall, were sailing west of Gibraltar on their way to back to Norfolk, Virginia, when they were turned around.
Marines from the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) board a CH-53 "Sea Stallion" helicopter aboard USS Iwo Jima.
The United States have never before evacuated American citizens from Israel. The US notice does not say whether a possible evacuation would include the US forces posted in American bases in Israel. A mass evacuation would entail a Marine shore landing in order to lead the evacuees to the amphibious craft.
The Iwo Jima is a helicopter carrier, while the New York, one of the newest vessels of its kind in the US Navy, is a primary class of amphibious transport dock.

AMERICAN JEWS AND CHRISTIAN EVANGELICALS: IRRECONCILABLE ENEMIES OR INEVITABLE ALLIES?
|
|
Michael Medved is a nationally syndicated radio talk show host and bestselling author. His daily show is heard by over 3.75 million people across the country. Born in Philadelphia, Michael won admission to Yale at age 16 as a National Merit Scholar. He majored in American History and graduated with honors, before attending Yale Law School, where his classmates included Bill and Hillary Clinton. Michael wrote his first bestseller at age 26 - "What Really Happened to the Class of '65?" - a skeptical reconsideration of the "counterculture" of the 1960's that became a weekly TV series on NBC.
Many American Jews distrust and even fear the rise of the evangelical Christianity. They see this religious movement as a threat to the survival of Judaism in the United States and to the continuance of a society that values pluralism and religious liberty. On the other hand increasing numbers of American Jews view evangelicals as natural allies, not just when it comes to support of Israel, but on a range of social issues here in the U.S. In this provocative presentation, Michael Medved will explain where Jews and Christians already agree, and where they can never agree, in their participation in the ongoing battles shaping American society.

Agenda 21: The U.N. plan to take control of individual and American freedom
On Monday night, Glenn's TV show focused on Agenda 21, a U.N. action plan that promotes "sustainability" and claims to protect the planet, but at the cost of national sovereignty and individual freedom. What does Agenda 21 mean for Americans?
TheBlaze's special report on Agenda 21 explains:
Agenda 21, is a grand plan for global "sustainable development," which President George H.W. Bush (and 177 other world leaders) agreed to in 1992. In July 1993, President Bill Clinton brought the global scheme directly into the U.S. government when he signed an executive order creating the President's Council on Sustainable Development, which avoided any review or discussion by Congress or the American people. "Sustainable development" sounds like a nice idea-that is, until you scratch the surface and find that Agenda 21 and sustainable development are actually cloaked plans to impose the tenets of social justice and socialism on the world. The Agenda 21 plan openly targets private property-which should surprise no one. For more than 35 years, the United Nations has made their stance very clear on the issue of individuals owning land. A report from a 1976 U.N. conference in Vancouver, British Columbia, on human settlements contains lays out the position: "Land ... cannot be treated as an ordinary asset, controlled by individuals and subject to the pressures and inefficiencies of the market. "Private land ownership is also a principal instrument of accumulation and concentration of wealth and therefore contributes to social injustice; if unchecked, it may become a major obstacle in the planning and implementation of development schemes. "The provision of decent dwellings and healthy conditions for the people can only be achieved if land is used in the interest of society as a whole."

The Great Betrayal: Obama's Wars and the War in Iraq
Jul 18th, 2012
Daniel Greenfield's new Freedom Center pamphlet, The Great Betrayal: Obama's Wars and the War in Iraq, is an effort to understand the politics of the "war on terror" which has now reached a final punctuation point with the U.S. decision to speed its withdrawal from the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan (where success was once deemed so crucial to national security), and to practice an incoherent form of regime change in Libya while ignoring more serious threats in Syria and Iran.
The war on terror began, Greenfield shows, as an admirable bipartisan commitment soon after the tragedy of 9/11-an effort to transcend party lines not only to punish those who attacked our country but also to interrupt planning for further attacks and try to stop the international spread of the Islamic jihad behind the attacks. But the Democratic Party, with the honorable exception of a few individuals like Richard Gephardt and Joe Lieberman, turned its back on a war soon after authorizing it, and did so at a time when American troops were facing hostile enemy fire.
Although Senate Democrats on the intelligence oversight committee had been granted access to every piece of data available to the White House, they now accused President Bush of tricking them to secure their approval. In fact, their own about-face was entirely dictated by political considerations when a Sixties antiwar activist, Howard Dean, surged ahead in the Democratic primary polls and it appeared for a moment that Americans were on the side of retreat and capitulation.
Although regime change in Iraq had been official U.S. policy since Bill Clinton signed the Iraq Liberation Act of 1998, Democratic senators such as John Kerry who only months earlier had supported the war effort now launched demoralizing attacks on the American commander-in-chief and his troops in the field, stigmatizing it as "the wrong war in the wrong place at the wrong time." If the truth was the first casualty of their war against the Bush administration, the second casualty was the principle of bi-partisanship that had guided foreign policy debates throughout the Cold War, the principle that "politics stops at the water's edge." Now partisan politics trumped security.
The unrestrained attacks on the Iraq War as illegal and unjustified went largely unanswered by Republicans who failed to call the Democratic saboteurs of the nation's war effort to account or to decry the risk their cynical attacks posed to American servicemen and women on the battlefield. As Greenfield demonstrates, the Democrats' partisanship had consequences not only in Iraq but elsewhere in the region: the paralysis that resulted from their "anti-war" campaign led straight to the destruction of Lebanon and the installation of a terrorist army, Hezbollah, there as a regime within a regime. And it emboldened an overtly Islamofascist regime in Iran not only to supply the IEDs responsible for most of our troop fatalities in Iraq but also to proceed with a nuclear program aimed directly at Israel and the West.
The Great Betrayal shows that Barack Obama's abandonment of Iraq is a betrayal of all the Americans and Iraqis who gave their lives to establish freedom in that country. And the result of his policies in Afghanistan has been as disastrous. While the President presented his rationale for pursuing war there as the pursuit of al-Qaeda, after abandoning his "surge" (which resulted in two thirds of all America's Afghan casualties there and the resurgence of the Taliban allies of al-Qaeda), he blithely prepared for withdrawal as if national objectives had been met.

Individuals sympathetic to the Muslim Brotherhood's sinister agenda have infiltrated the Obama Administration.
Brainwashed by the Muslim Students Association and then propelled in to the position of Deputy Chief of Staff to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the David Horowitz Freedom Center tracks the path of Huma Abedin and other Muslim sympathizers who have navigated their way into positions of great influence in the Obama Administration. Everything is revealed in the explosive new Freedom Center pamphlet, "The Muslim Brotherhood in the Obama Administration," written by Frank Gaffney, national security expert who served as Assistant Secretary of Defense under Ronald Reagan.
The David Horowitz Freedom Center is committed to educating the public on the Muslim Brotherhood's sinister Agenda. That is why we are giving away this pamphlet for FREE.

Metcalfe Reiterates Call for Pennsylvania to Exercise States Rights By Rejecting Obamacare Health Exchanges
|
HARRISBURG - House State Government Committee Majority Chairman, State Representative Daryl Metcalfe (R-Butler), once again called for Pennsylvania to stand for liberty and oppose the creation of a state health exchange, as called for by Obamacare.
"State health exchanges are a blatant attack on taxpayers and a continued violation of our Constitutional rights," said Representative Metcalfe. "Pennsylvania needs to stand together with the states that have already opted out of the exchanges to protect our citizens' freedoms and pockets from this accelerated spending nightmare."
In July 2012, Representative Metcalfe signed on to a letter with over 40 members of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives urging Governor Corbett to opt out of the costly state health insurance exchange and expanded Medicaid provisions.

The Heavy Burden of ObamaCare
"Society in every state is a blessing, but government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state an intolerable one." --Thomas Paine
Now that the reality of Barack Obama's re-election is settling in, the U.S. economy is shifting and making the necessary adjustments to brace for four more agonizing years of Hope 'n' Change™. In the last 10 days, we've seen news of the fallout in everything from the stock market plummeting to jobless claims skyrocketing and the poverty rate spiking. Thanks to Obama's assault on job creators, the list of businesses announcing layoffs, cuts and closings is growing daily. But not to worry: Obama says the "private sector is doing fine."
There are two policies that bear primary blame: ObamaCare and the fiscal cliff. Markets and business owners are struggling to prepare for these two gut punches. With the fiscal cliff, of course, higher taxes could cripple particularly small businesses' ability to hire or expand. But ObamaCare is doing much the same thing in a way that will only worsen as the tentacles of regulation extend ever further.
There are many more mandates in the law besides the infamous individual mandate to buy health insurance. For example, businesses of 50 or more employees face the potentially crushing burden of providing full, approved benefits to employees that work more than 30 hours -- considered "full-time" employees per the decree of the new law -- or fines of $2,000 per employee if they don't comply. The response is entirely predictable: Businesses avoid hiring that 50th employee, they reduce hours for their current employees or they pay the penalty, which is often cheaper than insurance, though it leaves employees on government exchanges.

RedState Morning Briefing
For November 20, 2012
1. Ronald Reagan and What I Got Wrong
Every person who talks and writes about politics gets stuff wrong. I've gotten my fair share wrong. But what I think I got most wrong in Campaign 2012 was the damage Mitt Romney's "47%" remark would do to him.
It may seem obvious, but bear with me.
Mitt Romney was talking off the cuff to a supposedly off the record group of donors and muddled several data points together, ultimately telling the tale of the 47% who won't vote for him for any reason. He was referencing the 47% who don't pay taxes and interwove it with a 47% of locked in Obama support. The statement was a mess.
I didn't think Mitt Romney would be as hurt by the statement as he was because I assumed Romney had misspoken in an off the cuff way. I assumed Romney would clarify that he knew many of those who have government assistance did not actually want the assistance, but needed it. I assumed he'd make the case that he'd help those people get off the government dole and back into work.
In other words, I assumed Romney believed what I believe - many of those people are good people who fell on hard times and are not of the same class of people who will vote for Barack Obama for free stuff. I was absolutely wrong. Romney not only believes completely what he said as he said it, he reinforced it with his post election analysis of his defeat blaming gifts to various classes of people. If that was true, as Newt Gingrich pointed out, Romney had plenty to gift to plenty strapped to the back of marching elephants.
Note to Mitt Romney: really, it's you, not them. Seriously.
What does this have to do with Ronald Reagan? As Dan McLaughlin pointed out, every Republican Presidential candidate since Ronald Reagan opposed Ronald Reagan in the 1980 election except John McCain. Think about that for a minute. Every nominee of the party cast by the media as an insane fringe of conservatives actually opposed, from the left, Ronald Reagan in 1980.

Getting Cautious Amid the Fiscal Cliff Uncertainty Over the past several weeks, the overall stock market has resembled a roller coaster - down up, down up and then a quick drop. That is the case no matter which major market index we look at. The only real difference among the Dow Jones industrial average, the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq composite index has been the degree of the drop. While the first two indexes have fallen more than 6% over the past month, the Nasdaq composite index dropped a more pronounced 7.5% in the past four weeks and nearly 11% since Sept. 14. |

Obama Trying To Restrain Israel
Barack Obama's public statements recognizing Israel's right to self-defense sound reassuring. But privately, according to several news outlets including the "wired-in" Politico, Obama is leaning on Israel trying to deter it from entering the Gaza jihadist sewer to finish the job with ground troops. Obama is reportedly worried that if the fighting escalates, his "two-state solution" will be pushed off into the future. Two-state solution? Is he serious? The withdrawal of all Israelis from Gaza in 2005 was followed by the militarization of the whole territory by Hamas and Hezbollah. Month after month it is used as a launching pad for rocket attacks on Israeli civilian areas -- attacks that are completely ignored by the U.S. media. The missiles are being supplied by Iran. Al Qaeda is operating on the ground too. Gaza is living proof of why more Israeli land concessions will not bring peace. Meanwhile, the on-going war against Israel continues on every level. Iran is stepping up its nuclear weapons program. Israeli computer systems are under mass hacking attacks. Usually there are a few hundred attempts each day to compromise or render useless key Israeli defense systems. But since last Wednesday when the latest conflict started, there have been 44 million (no, that is not a typo) hacking attempts from around the world. Only one was successful and the Israelis were able to recover in 10 minutes. If you want to stand with Israel in its time of need, go to the Christians United for Israel website at cufi.org, where you will find several action items you can take. I am proud to be one of CUFI's founders and I strongly support Pastor John Hagee's work. What's Next For Obamacare? Barack Obama's reelection means that Obamacare is likely to survive in some form for the next four years. But the American people still don't like it. Even though they voted to reelect Obama, exit polls discovered that only 44% of Americans fully support Obamacare, while 49% want parts of it or all of it repealed. The dilemma for the Democrats is that the next phase of the law's implementation rests largely with the nation's 30 Republican governors. As The Weekly Standard's Fred Barnes notes, "Governors can't repeal Obamacare. But they can confound the Obama administration's plan for implementing it fully in 2014. If governors do so, they may force the president to negotiate on scaling back the program." A number of Republican governors are refusing to set up the so-called "state exchanges." If the governors refuse to set up the exchanges, the federal government can step in. But there are major problems. There are serious questions as to whether the federal government is even capable of setting up and administering dozens of state programs. In addition, the law stipulates that only the state-run exchanges are eligible for Obamacare's taxpayer-funded subsidies. Theoretically, if every Republican governor refused to set up an exchange in his or her state, then the residents of just 20 states would be eligible for the federal money. Click here to read more. Bishops Battle On In addition to facing administrative challenges at the state level, Obamacare continues to face a number of legal challenges in the courts. Christian publisher Tyndale House won an injunction Friday against Obamacare's contraception mandate. In his decision, U.S. District Judge Reggie Walton wrote, "The contraceptive coverage mandate affirmatively compels [Tyndale House] to violate their religious beliefs in order to comply with the law." Largely ignored by the "mainstream media," the nation's Catholic leaders last week reaffirmed their opposition to the contraception mandate and vowed to continue the battle for religious liberty in spite of the election results. At a meeting of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, Cardinal Timothy Dolan, said:
"The only thing we're certainly not prepared to do is give in. We're not violating our consciences. I would say no door is closed except for the door to capitulation." No Mandate For Liberalism In the two weeks since the election, pundits and politicians have been debating whether Barack Obama has been given a mandate to advance his party's agenda. Post-election analysis shows that Obama and his allies do not have a mandate to expand government or pursue a more liberal agenda. You can read more in my weekly column at HumanEvents.com.

NEW POLL SHOWS REPUBLICANS STRONGLY SUPPORT ISRAEL'S ACTIONS IN GAZA
Republicans Say Gaza Action Justified by 74%-12%
RJC Urges All Americans to Support Israel
Washington, D.C. (November 19, 2012) -- The Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) noted a CNN/ORC poll released today showing that 74% of Republicans think that Israel is justified in taking military action against Hamas in Gaza. Across the country, 57% of all Americans believe Israel's actions are justified, with 25% saying the Israeli operation is unjustified.
RJC Executive Director Matt Brooks said, "At this time, Hamas is launching hundreds of rockets a day against civilian targets in Israel and the IDF is using pinpoint strikes to take out Hamas' weapons capabilities with the least possible harm to the Palestinian civilians among whom Hamas is embedded. The RJC joins with the Jewish community and all friends of Israel in expressing our support for Israel's actions and our fervent hope that Israel's operations against Hamas will bring lasting security to the people of Israel.
"We hope all Americans will rally behind Israel. Regardless of one's politics, now is the time for people in both parties to unite in support of America's only democratic ally in the region - Israel."
The CNN poll also showed that Democrats narrowly believe Israel is justified in its action by 41%-36%.

Now I know why Stevens was in Benghazi on 9-11! You just need to connect the dots!
Stevens met with the Turkish Consul-General at 6PM on 9-11. Why were they meeting? Nothing ever occurs in a vacuum! Let's look at the geo-political situation.
With Obama's election in 2008, and especially with his speech in Cairo on June 4, 2009 (which is on my website www.IslamThreat.com) Obama opened the cage door to the Islamic world letting the Muslim Brotherhood loose to create the new Islamic Caliphate. The bogus "Arab Spring" occurred, purely predictable that it would turn into the "Arab Nightmare" for the West, which it has. With the fall of the Muslim countries in N. Africa, the "crescent" spread to the Middle East, sapecifically into Syria.
Now Syria is a client-state of both Iran and Russia. The majority of the weapons in Assad's inventory are Iranian and Russian. Al-Qaeda and AQ wannabes have been fighting in Syria attempting to overthrow Assad and establish another Islamic regime. Why has America NOT interfered in Syria while Assad murders rebels to retain power? Very simple! Russia [read Putin] specifically told Obama "Hand's off"!
During the Syrian uprising Turkey became involved because they share a common border with Syria. Al-Qaeda attacks against Turkey have occurred because Al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood want also want to depose Erdogan and convert Turkey back into the Islamic state it once was under the Turkish Caliphate thagt existed for over 400 years, and was destroyed after WW1 because they partnered with Germany. (Remember Lawrence of Arabia?)
Why was Stevens in Benghazi meeting with the Turkish Consul-General? It was because Stevens has been the "go-to" guy in the Libya rebellion handling all the "gun-walking" for Obama to the Libyans to depose Gaddafi! (The former Seals were in Benghazi trying to locate all of the weapons that were not only in Gaddafi's inventory, but the weapons Obama gave them to depose Gaddafi! The Libyan rebels, of course, did not wanto to give them up!) So why was the Turkish Consul-General there? Simple.
The Turk was there to convince Stevens that the flow of weapons from Obama needed to stop through Libya into Syria because they were now being used against Turkey! Not only that, but the weapons were also being funneled from Libya into GAZA to Hamas! The really bad part of the gun-walking situation was the Obama was partnering with IRAN to smuggle guns, he thought, only into Libya to depose Gaddafi, but have been smuggled into GAZA! The rockets being fired into Israel are all Iranian-made, most of which occurs at a factory controlled by Iran in SUDAN!
With the re-election of Obama Iran WILL have nuclear weapons, and they WILL be smuggled all over the Middle East and N. Africa! Because Obama was re-elected, Hamas decided they can once again start a conflict with Israel because they know that Obama will do NOTHING to assist Israel! Once again I must predict that Obama at some point will direct US Military forces to attack Israel to "protect" the poor innocent Palestinians under Obama's specious "Responsibility to Protect" doctrine he used at the UN to aid Al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood in deposing Gaddafi.
ELECTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES!

NEW ON PJ MEDIA |
Ending the current fighting in the Gaza Strip is simple. There are two requirements: an international willingness to do it and an important decision from the new Egyptian government.
A U.S.-supported move to create a single united framework for the Syrian revolution's leadership has belatedly met with success, but many questions remain regarding the new coalition and its chances for really bringing about a unified movement capable of replacing the brutal Assad dictatorship. | | TOP STORIES ON PJ MEDIA |
After the disaster of trying to blame an obscure YouTube video for the attack on the CIA operation in Benghazi and Obama's prophecy at the UN that "the future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam," Hillary Clinton's State Department appears to be taking another run at the First Amendment free speech rights of American citizens.
In the immediate aftermath of Mitt Romney's defeat, an unprecedented amount of scrutiny was focused on the Cuban-American population of south Florida. The Cuban-American vote is important because it has been a Republican island in the sea of blue that is the map of south Florida. | | MORE FROM PJ MEDIA |

The Escalating Conflict Between Hamas and Israel
By James Phillips
Over the last four days, militants in Gaza have fired more than 840 rockets at Israel. Hamas rockets have reached the outskirts of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv for the first time, thanks to the smuggling of Iranian rockets into Gaza. The increasing range and sophistication of Palestinian rockets has expanded the reach of terrorists, who now can threaten up to half of Israel's population.
Israel has intercepted 302 of those rockets with its Iron Dome missile defense system, according to the Israel Defense Forces. Iron Dome, on which the U.S. has collaborated, has proven its worth and underscored the importance of missile defense in future U.S. military budgets.
Meanwhile, Iran is seeking-successfully-to keep the pot boiling at Israel's expense to distract international attention from its nuclear program. A leaked International Atomic Energy Agency report indicates that Iran could soon double the number of centrifuges at its Fordo facility from 700 to 1,400.
President Obama spoke out on the fighting yesterday, saying Israel has the right to defend itself against Hamas's missile attacks from Gaza. But he urged Israel not to launch a ground assault in Gaza, saying it would put Israeli soldiers, as well as Palestinian citizens, at greater risk and hamper an already vexing peace process.

Dear Patriots, I feel so bad for President Obama; he's inheriting such a mess. The last two weeks have been dispiriting, to say the least. It's understandable to feel disheartened. But now is not the time for weeping and gnashing of teeth. As I say to my children when they cry, "Show me the blood. No blood? No tears." And that's the same message I have for myself and all of us today. Freedom has never been easy, nor will it ever be. It is not something we arrive at one day. Freedom is an enduring principle and with it comes an enduring struggle. It is that which courses through our blood and gives us reason to fight onward (or forward..but to the right.) There is no freedom without responsibility. And we now have a moral obligation to take on that responsibility and to continue the fight anew. Just ask a veteran. As you know, Sunday was Veteran's Day (observed on Monday.) A day we honor the people who did not simply go to Congress or their State House to advocate for freedom, but who put on a uniform and picked up arms and were ready and willing to offer up their lives to defend it. As we thank our veterans this week, I urge you to take a moment to ask them about war. Ask them what it was like to have lost a battle or worse, lost the friend fighting next to them. How blessed are we then, in victory or defeat, to be fighting our battle in peace. And if we want to maintain that domestic tranquility which we now enjoy, it is crucial we never, ever give up. Giving up is just not the American way. The principles you stood for on November 6th are no less important today. Americans for Prosperity didn't come to Pennsylvania for an election, and I, like so many of you, did not get into this movement to elect or defeat a politician. I know things seem bleak, but do not despair and follow the advice of the great Winston Churchill (who, by the way, was half American. His mother, Jennie, was from Chicago) who once said: "When you're going through hell, keep going." So, let's keep going, shall we? Step 1: Defeat Obamacare in Pennsylvania Just over a month ago, 500 of you showed up to Harrisburg to ask Governor Corbett to block the Obamacare Exchanges and pass House Bill 2655 which would remove the power from the Governor to implement the exchange. This bill passed the Republican controlled General Assembly in New Hampshire and was signed by a Democratic Governor. It is bi-partisan. Two days after you came to Harrisburg, the Pennsylvania Insurance Commissioner issued a statement that said the Governor would not move forward with the exchange...yet. Friday is the deadline for states to submit their plan for an exchange. Although Health and Human Services has extended the deadline, we must continue to call the Governor and advocate our position. Governor Corbett is asking for clarification from the federal government (good luck) and crunching the numbers. Maybe you could save him some time by telling him he will come up short because Obamacare is a failure, no matter which way you slice it. Let's not rest on our laurels. So here is what you have to do: a.) Send this action alert to Governor Corbett and tell him you DO NOT WANT him to implement the exchanges. He must notify Health and Human Services of his intentions by TOMORROW! b.) Give Governor Corbett a call at 717-787-2500 and tell him yourself. Ask him to support HB2655. It is time for the Governor to stand for Pennsylvania and reject the creation of this exchange. c.) Our efforts to pass HB 2655will be focused in the House. So here are the names and numbers of the leadership you need to call. Don't worry if they are not in your district, call them anyway. If they are leaders in the General Assembly, then they need to focus on how all of Pennsylvania feels about HB 2655, not just their constituents. House Speaker, Sam Smith: (717) 787-3845 House Majority Leader, Mike Turzai: (717) 772-9943 Caucus Chair: Sandra Major (717) 783-2910 Caucus Secretary: Mike Vereb: (717) 705-7164 Appropriations Chair, William Adolph (717) 787-1248 And don't forget to thank the sponsors of the bill, including the only person in leadership to sign on, House Whip Stan Saylor: (717) 783-6426. Step 2: Prepare for the Lame Duck My friends, the left wing agenda is bad for America. Elections do not change the mandate for all Americans to do what is best for our country. That's why I want you to gird your loins for December. We will do whatever it takes to bring our country back this Obama-induced downward economic spiral. Click here to learn more about the Lame Duck agenda. Once again, thanks for all you do...and remember, KEEP GOING! In Liberty and Solidarity, Jennifer Stefano State Director @stefanospeaks

White House Changed CIA Talking Points
Posted on November 19, 2012

Senior Republican members of Congress confirmed Sunday that the Obama administration changed CIA guidance to senior officials that had identified the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi as an al Qaeda attack.
"The intelligence community had it right, and they had it right early," said chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Rep. Mike Rogers (R., Mich.).
The CIA "talking points" on Benghazi initially identified the attackers as al Qaeda or al Qaeda-linked terrorists but senior administration officials removed the reference, Rogers said on NBC's Meet the Press.
Meanwhile, White House deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes told reporters traveling with the president on Saturday that the White House made only minor changes in the first comments by a White House official on the Benghazi security scandal.
"We were provided with points by the intelligence community that represented their assessment," Rhodes said on Air Force One en route to Asia. "The only edit made by the White House was the factual edit about how to refer to the facility."

West Seeks Emergency Hearing
by Tony Lee18 Nov 2012, 10:59 AM
Rep. Allen West (R-FL) is seeking an emergency hearing after his challenger, Democrat Patrick Murphy, declared victory in Florida's 18th congressional district race on Sunday. Murphy declared victory after the St. Lucie County canvassing board missed a noon deadline to file its election results.
According to the Palm Beach Post, under Florida law, if the final certified results do not arrive by noon on Sunday, the "unofficial results submitted last Sunday stand." Those unofficial results have Murphy winning by 0.58%. A spread of less than 0.5%, as the Post notes, would trigger an automatic recount. Tallies showed West would have needed roughly 250 votes to trigger a recount across the district.
Unless West receives an emergency injunction, Murphy will be declared the winner.
Allen West's campaign told Fox News that "what was a bad situation has gotten worse" and "whether this was done intentionally" or was more negligence on behalf of the supervisor of elections, "it just adds to the suspicion."
West won a decision to get early votes in the 8 days leading up to the election in St. Lucie County recounted. West's campaign said some elections officials in St. Lucie County admitted to double counting some ballots and ignoring other ballots on election night.
Canvassing Board Member Ted Lowery said the board on Sunday "still had write-in ballots and other questionable ballots from eight days of early voting to review before the noon deadline." In addition, machines may have malfunctioned during Sunday's recount.
Tim Edson, West's campaign manager, told the Post that "Murphy's people are full of garbage" and "this is something the secretary of state and governor will have to sort out." According to Edson, the recount revealed many "concerns," such as 900 voters casting ballots in precinct 93, where there are 7 registered voters, and "the results are raising more questions."

Tracing the walking history of this mystery box of write in ballots Florida Election Board auditors found somewhere in or around Gertrude Walker's St. Lucie County headquarters is proving to be quite daunting. And the Allen West-Patrick Murphy recount continued early this morning after being suspended late last night. These write in ballots of 306 early votes somehow missed being counted because machines "kicked them out." With Election Supervisor Walker now hospitalized, we may never know what happened. Her administrative assistant Annie H. Clark told me, "They didn't find no ballots," but canvassing board member Tod Mowry said the auditors' find "was noted." Kathryn Nelson, canvassing board member who voted against the new recount," told me, "Those ballots just were not included in the official count."
Rumors on comment rolls began to surface about this mystery box late last week putting it in a high school gym somewhere. The Tradition Hall polling place computer came in late and even Allen West himself decried the chaos on election day, especially at the Minsky gym location. The machine under Walker's supervision kicked out 306 write in ballots that had to be manually tallied, but somewhere along the process this box disappeared and later was found by Florida state auditors. "You color in a bullet" (bubble) some man in the audience of recount watchers told me.
But a retired school administrator who with his wife is driving 140 miles round trip from Wellington clearly is disgusted with everything going on. "I think it's a mess; why is it a mess? Why can't we get it right. . .we've been voting for hundreds of years. . .there's got to be a better process than this," he said. A Scottish born man said, "I'm here to make sure Allen West gets a fair shake." West supporters were out in force all day Saturday. Murphy attorney Liz Howard went up to a St. Lucie County attorney before counting began and showed her Murphy's plea for injunctive relief seeking to halt the proceedings. I intervened and said, "Wait a minute; those papers are neither signed by a judge nor served. . .the count must go forward! Later in the day a new judge threw out the Murphy request saying it was lacking both procedurally and substantively.
The Walker sudden hospitalization curiously coincides with today's noon deadline for election results certification. What happens next? Murphy's attorneys say their next move will be to enter Leon County courts to seek remedy if he loses the recount. And Allen West is fighting another valiant battle to win fair and square! He took off his own body armor to give it to one of his men in the heat of battle. Beloved by his dedicated supporters who have marched for him all week, Congressman West is withstanding a towering onslaught of attacks from liberal left black politicians who traditionally vote color.

Allen West's 'Nuclear Option' Dear Fellow American: On Sunday afternoon, the Palm Beach Post and several other media outlets reported that St. Lucie County failed to submit its certified election results to the State before a 12-noon legal deadline. In a brazen act of incompetence or fraud, the Democrat-run election board simply ran-out the clock. This not only nullified the full recount underway since Saturday morning, but also certified by default the "sham" partial recount results from last week. However, less than two hours after this bombshell (while the West campaign sought an emergency hearing), the Democrat-run election board announced "preliminary" results from the recount. These "preliminary" results showed Allen West losing even more votes! One must seriously consider if it is even remotely possible for Colonel Allen West to ever receive a fair and accurate recount from this "banana republic" of an election board. However, Allen West has another option outside of Florida. This is what I call "The Nuclear Option". Under the Federal Contested Elections Act, Congressman Allen West can take this election to the U.S. House of Representatives, who have the final word. A majority vote by John Boehner's GOP-controlled House alone can force a recount, call for a new election, or even just seat Allen West as the victor outright - "game over". There is not a single thing Obama-Reid-Pelosi, and especially the Democrat-run St. Lucie County election board, can do to stop it. Revive America PAC is conducting an Urgent National Survey on this important question: Allen West's "Nuclear Option": Should Congressman West Bypass the Democrat-Run St. Lucie County Election Board to Challenge the Election Before the Republican-led Congress? Should Allen West Just "Press the Button"? Please Go Here Now to Cast Your Vote on this Urgent National Survey I also encourage you to forward this National Survey to family and friends. You can do so by clicking here now. There are many other serious questions about this election still unanswered, such as the 900 voters who cast ballots in Precinct 93, where only 7 voters are registered. Can you say, "Acorn"? Allen West is up against some of the most vile and corrupt liberal Democrats in the country. Allen West needs to know that we've got his back. Revive America PAC is one of the very few national conservative groups fighting for Allen West. If Colonel West is forced to take it to the floor of Congress, we'll stand with him every step of the way.

News from The Hill:
100 Republicans sign letter urging Obama not to nominate Rice for Secretary of State By Pete Kasperowicz
Nearly 100 House Republicans on Monday called on President Obama not to nominate Susan Rice as Secretary of State.
In a letter to Obama, the Republicans said the credibility of the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations has been gravely wounded by her account of the September 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya.
"Though Ambassador Rice has been our Representative to the U.N., we believe her misleading statements over the days and weeks following the attack on our embassy in Libya that led to the deaths of Ambassador Stevens and three other Americans caused irreparable damage to her credibility both at home and around the world," Republicans wrote in their letter, which was led by Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-S.C.) and sent to Obama Monday.
Stevens and the three others were killed in an attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi.
The letter says Rice "propagated a falsehood" that the attacks were a spontaneous response to a video that depicted the Prophet Muhammed. The administration then said more than a week later that terrorism may have played a role.

Troubles Grow for Newest New York Times Boss |
|
by Warner Todd Huston
Troubles are growing for the newest boss of The New York Times over the shocking abuse scandal perpetrated by one of the BBC's most famous TV personalities, Jimmy Savile. The scandal has rocked the British Isles and cast a dark cloud over the end of former BBC Chief Mark Thompson's career, the same Mark Thompson that has just become the new head of the NY Times.
The scandal Thompson thought he left behind in England is coming back to haunt him and it's a case of what did he know and when did he know it.

Scrooge Alert: Boycott Gap, Old Navy and Banana Republic this Christmas
November 20, 2012
Dear ##FirstName[AFA Supporter]##,
AFA is calling for a limited two-month boycott of Gap, Old Navy and Banana Republic, the three stores owned by San Francisco-based Gap Inc., over the company's censorship of the word "Christmas."
For years, the Gap companies have refused to use the word Christmas on its website, in television commercials, newspaper ads and in-store promotions, despite tens of thousands of consumer requests to recognize Christmas and in spite of repeated requests from AFA to do the same. Need proof? Go to www.gap.com or www.oldnavy.com and type "Christmas" in the search bar. As of today, the websites bring up zero results. In fact, Old Navy's site gives an error message. You'll find "holiday" picks, "holiday" wonderland, "holiday" anthem and a "holiday" gift guide, but you won't find "Christmas." Gap and Old Navy are censoring the word Christmas, pure and simple. Yet the company wants all the people who celebrate Christmas to do their shopping at its stores. Until Gap proves it recognizes Christmas by using it in their newspaper, radio, television advertising or in-store signage, the boycott will be promoted. In the past AFA has played a part in convincing other retailers to change their approach. But at Gap and Old Navy, it's "Bah, Humbug!" Take Action Sign the Boycott Gap Pledge. AFA will regularly update Gap on how many people have signed the pledge. Follow up with a phone call. Calling the corporate office does no good. You have to wade through a myriad of prompts and still won't get to a live person. We recommend you call your local store manager and politely let them know you won't be shopping their store. Ask them to pass your comments along to the corporate office.
| Sign the Boycott Gap Pledge Now! |
It is very important that you forward this alert to your friends and family members.
Sincerely,

Tim Wildmon, President American Family Association |

The Gaza confrontation - a major test case for the "Arab Spring"
Posted: 19 Nov 2012 11:31 AM PST
(Paul Mirengoff)
In many ways, the current battle between Israel and Hamas is a familiar one. Hamas persists in launching rockets into Israel; Israel responds by targeting Hamas' leaders and its rockets, and amasses troops for a possible invasion; Hamas launches potentially deadly but largely ineffective missile attacks at Israeli population centers; the world fixates on inadvertent Palestinian civilian casualties; the U.S. publicly supports Israel while privately trying to defuse the situation.
But there's something new and different this time - the context, specifically the "Arab Spring."
The New York Times makes this point in story captioned "An Outgunned Hamas Tries to Tap Islamists' Growing Clout." That headline and the opening paragraph say it all:
Emboldened by the rising power of Islamists around the region, the Palestinian militant group Hamas demanded new Israeli concessions to its security and autonomy before it halts its rocket attacks on Israel, even as the conflict took an increasing toll on Sunday.
Hamas hopes that, given the rise of Islamists in the region, it can negotiate a long-term cease fire that, in the words of the Times, will "put Hamas in a stronger position than when the conflict began" by, among other things, "ending Israel's five-year-old embargo of the Gaza Strip." Hamas will expect the new Islamist regime in Egypt to help broker such a deal. And the Egyptian regime will want to meet that expectation both for its own ideological reasons and to satisfy the Egyptian public.
In other words, to quote the Times again, "Hamas's aggressive stance in the cease-fire talks is the first test of the group's belief that the Arab Spring and the rise in Islamist influence around the region have strengthened its political hand, both against Israel and against Hamas's Palestinian rivals, who now control the West Bank with Western backing."
It follows that the stakes are enormously high for Israel. To the extent it makes concessions, the unmistakable signal will be that the "growing clout" of Islamists in the Middle East extends beyond the internal affairs of particular states (or crumbling former states) to the point that it constrains and weakens Israel. And to the extent that the rise of Islamists stemming from the "Arab Spring" can be viewed as turning the tide against Israel, the movement will become both irresistible and increasingly focused on defeating Israel. Indeed, failing regimes, such as Egypt is likely quickly to become, will be better able to mask or circumvent failure by pointing to their role in assisting anti-Israeli militants in an increasingly fruitful struggle against Israel.
That's why Israel must make sure that this iteration of the battle between Hamas and Israel ends badly for Hamas. Concessions on the embargo of Gaza should be out of the question. But so too should anything short of the serious degradation of Hamas in Gaza.
There are many givens in the current confrontation. World opinion is against Israel; journalists are against Israel; Obama is probably neutral at best. Israel can't control any of that. But it can control the outcome of the confrontation. And the outcome will, in turn, determine whether this first great test case of the Arab Spring as applied to Israel encourages or discourages Arabs to believe that the triumph of their extremism will lead to triumph over Israel.

In the post-election "Now What?" edition of National Review just out today, I have an article suggesting that the durable features of the Constitution, however attenuated by a century of "progressivism," should caution us from overdoing our pessimism. The whole article is behind a subscriber firewall, but here's the lede:
Conservatives are natural pessimists, based on a realism about fallible human nature that fuels our opposition to the coercive utopianism of the Left. The Founders shared this pessimism about human nature and the weakness of democracy, and kept it at the forefront of their minds as they designed our political institutions: "If men were angels," and all that. But the conservative pessimism after the GOP's poor showing in this election is overdone. The Republican party and the conservative movement were said to be finished after Barry Goldwater's landslide loss in 1964, and again in 1976, when the aftermath of Watergate and Jimmy Carter's narrow presidential win installed Democratic supermajorities in both houses of Congress. In 1977, voters who identified with the Republican party fell to an all-time low of 21 percent.
I also offer this prescription on the "fiscal cliff":
So here's an idea: the House GOP should call the Obama-Krugman bluff, pass a sweeping, pro-growth tax reform package right now, and send it to the Senate, coupled with an announcement that it is not going along with tax increases for anyone unless they are for everyone. Heck, the House GOP could even just pass Simpson-Bowles, and rightly say they are passing the plan President Obama's own commission recommended. The House should be prepared to let all the Bush tax cuts expire, which will expose the liberal fiction that the Bush tax cuts only helped "the rich." The tax increase will happen without a vote to increase taxes, so no-tax increase pledges can be honored. It will all be on Obama and Senate Democrats. If Speaker John Boehner is serious that the House GOP has just as much of a mandate as the President, then this is the time to act on it.
And finally, a coda for pessimists:
[C]onservatives of pessimistic bent ought to orient themselves according to a fragment from T.S. Eliot that longtime National Review contributor (and happy pessimist) Russell Kirk liked to quote in these pages:
"If we take the widest and wisest view of a Cause, there is no such thing as a Lost Cause because there is no such thing as a Gained Cause. We fight for lost causes because we know that our defeat and dismay may be the preface to our successors' victory, though that victory itself will be temporary; we fight rather to keep something alive than in the expectation that anything will triumph."

Will Israel settle, in effect, for the status quo?
Posted: 19 Nov 2012 09:46 AM PST
(Paul Mirengoff)
The big news over the weekend was that Israel did not launch a ground invasion of Gaza. Israel says it held off on the invasion to allow time for efforts at reaching a long-term cease-fire to continue. But Israel has also said that, although it prefers a diplomatic solution, any agreement must erase the threat of rocket attacks against Israel's southern residents.
This would seem to be an obvious point. It makes no sense for Israel to back down without having obtained real protection for its citizens.
Unfortunately, the goal of securing southern Israel from rocket attack cannot be achieved through an agreement. Promises by Hamas to stop launching rockets would be meaningless after a few months. The same is true of promises by others to stop supplying Hamas with rockets; nor would be most dangerous party, Iran, be a party to such an agreement. And it is difficult to imagine an inspection regime that would accomplish Israel's objectives, much less one that Hamas would agree to absent a crushing military defeat.
Accordingly, Israel must either finish the military job it started, which would accomplish its security objective for a few years anyway, or leave its southern citizens vulnerable to bombardment in the short term.
A cease fire agreement at this juncture, then, would represent another failed effort by Israel to obtain security from its weaker enemies, even as its only powerful enemy moves ever closer to developing a nuclear weapons capability.

What Obama would like us to believe about Benghazigate
Posted: 19 Nov 2012 08:30 AM PST
(Paul Mirengoff)
Ralph Peters provides a helpful list of the things the White House wants the American people to believe about Benghazihate. It's a long list:
* That intelligence professionals watching the Benghazi attack in real time and reading flash messages from the scene weren't sure an obvious terrorist attack was a terrorist attack. A Cub Scout watching that strike go down would have recognized a planned terror operation.
* That, even now, the attack somehow, magically, might have been partly about that discredited video, after all, since the first phase was sloppier than the crisper second phase. Jeez. It's obvious the terrorists did what any seasoned commander would do: Used the B-team as bait at the consulate, reserving the A-team to spring the trap on the CIA facility.
* That it was purely coincidental the attack occurred on the 11th anniversary of 9/11.
* That doctoring the early CIA analysis to eliminate any mention of terrorism was purely a bureaucratic quirk (having coped with the interagency process, I assure you it would be easy to identify who neutered the analysis - if the White House wanted to).
* That Obama pal and UN Ambassador Susan Rice is so naïve that, after reading the classified analysis blaming a terrorist operation, she found the unclassified, castrated analysis more convincing than common sense.
* That Rice was the logical choice to dispatch to five Sunday talk shows to blame the video for the violence, even though our president himself stated in last week's press conference that Rice had nothing to do with Benghazi. (We were also treated to another of Obama's now-routine how-dare-you-question-me hissy fits as he defended Rice with far greater vigor than he defended our team in Benghazi.)
* That it was another bureaucratic coincidence that Director of National Intelligence James Clapper wasn't told about CIA chief David Petraeus's new exercise routine until late on Election Day - even though Clapper was the one person in the entire government with an obvious need to know.
* That despite the general's Friday testimony under oath on the Hill that the CIA's analysis identified the Benghazi attack as an act of terror involving al Qaeda affiliates from the start, the available evidence somehow supported the video-did-it narrative, after all.
* That the president personally did all he could to help our personnel in Benghazi, even though the White House can offer no evidence of it.
* That there was no reason to be concerned about security in Benghazi, even though incidents and requests for better protection had stacked up for months.
* That four Americans dead as a result of a planned act of terror on another Sept. 11, just isn't that big a deal and we need to move on.
I would add one more item to Peters' list of highly implausible things Obama would like us to believe: That the Obama administration is conducting an honest, good-faith investigation of the events relating to Benghazigate.

How states can disarm Obamacare
Posted: 19 Nov 2012 07:48 AM PST
(Paul Mirengoff)
Obamacare dodged two bullets this year. First, it survived Supreme Court review when Chief Justice Roberts found a way to uphold its constitutionality. Second, it survived the election which saw Obama defeat a candidate who promised to undermine Obamacare care and support its repeal.
Does this mean that Obamacare is a done deal? Not according to Yuval Levin and James Capretta. They note that the law is heavily dependent on state implementation, and that some states may not do the federal government's bidding.
The states, Levin and Capretta remind us, have two key choices to make that together will put them in the driver's seat: whether to create state health-insurance exchanges and whether to expand Medicaid. As to the first choice, running the exchanges would be an administrative nightmare. It would require a complicated set of rules, mandates, databases, and interfaces to establish eligibility, funnel subsidies, and facilitate purchases. Moreover, this would have to be accomplished in the context of what Levin and Capretta describe as "broad and often incoherent statutory requirements and federal regulations that have yet to be written."
To make matters worse:
The exchanges would create unsustainable pressures on each state's insurance market, treating similarly situated people differently by providing far greater subsidies for those in the exchanges than those in employer plans-yielding perverse incentives that distort consumer and employer decisions and increase costs. States would endure all this simply to become functionaries of the federal government. The idea that creating state exchanges would give states control over their insurance markets is a fantasy. The states would be enforcing a federal law and federal regulations, with very little room for independent judgment.
Not surprisingly, then, some governors - including Bobby Jindal, John Kasich, and Scott Walker - have already indicated that they won't build the exchanges. Others, including a few Democrats, have expressed reservations.
Without state participation, the burden and costs of the exchanges falls on the federal government. And Levin and Capretta question whether the administration could operate the exchanges on its own.
Congress didn't allocate money for administering federal exchanges, and the law as written seems to prohibit federally run exchanges from providing subsidies to individuals. The administration insists that it can provide those subsidies anyway. But if the courts read the plain words of the statute, then federal exchanges couldn't really function.
States are also free to refuse the expansion of Medicaid. That expansion would throw millions of additional Americans into a system that, according to Levin and Capretta, is already bankrupting state governments and increasing costs in the private-insurance market. Indeed, "Medicaid's payments for services are so low that many existing beneficiaries have trouble finding physicians and other health-care providers who will accept them as patients." Thus, enrolling even more people without reform "will push the system to the point of collapse."
Under these circumstances, it would hardly be surprising if more than a few governors decline to play along with the administration on Medicaid.
Eventually, then, we could be left with two sets of health care systems in this country - sort of like baseball with the "Designated Hitter Rule." Presumably, one system would work better than the other, so that, unlike in baseball, voter pressure might lead to the discarding of the less popular system.

While New Jersey Residents Suffer, Governor Christie Goes on Saturday Night Live
By Daniel Greenfield | November 18, 2012
Tens of thousands of New Jersey residents are without power. Many have lost homes and everything else that they have. Some don't have enough to eat and others are struggling to stay warm. This is not the time for a responsible leader to go do his self-promoting shtick on Saturday Night Live. But Christie seems so tone deaf that he puts his self-promotion ahead of anything else.

For one economist the "fiscal cliff" will be only one problem among many that are coming very soon
Nov 19, 2012 05:13 am | Coach Collins
By Kevin "Coach" Collins
Whether Barack Obama's policies are popular or not is immaterial. They are destructive and will eventually be seen for what they are by all but the most dedicated parasites among us. The pain Obama will cause us all will injure us all to one degree or another and time will bare this prediction out. Time will enable us to say "We told you so" although that will be little consolation. Things are so bad the world over that nothing can stop the eventual collapse of the global financial markets.
This is the situation we face according to well respected Economist Jim Fitzgibbons who heads the Highlander Fund.
Here are Fitzgibbon's observations and predictions.
"We will be contracting in 2013 (Recession...Depression). I had originally thought a clear implosion was due Q2 2013, but I now have to consider a moving up in time."
"[The coming recession] runs the risk of being substantially worse ... Continue Reading:For one economist the "fiscal cliff" will be only one problem among many that are coming very soon

A report from the ground: Gertrude Walker is stealing Allen West's seat in Congress
Nov 18, 2012 11:44 am | Coach Collins
By Suzanne Eovaldi , staff writer
Rumors on comment rolls began to surface about this mystery box late last week putting it in a high school gym somewhere. ... Continue Reading:A report from the ground: Gertrude Walker is stealing Allen West's seat in Congress

Incidentism
Posted: 18 Nov 2012 09:24 PM PST
Once upon a time it was the objective of the military to win wars. Now the objective of the military is to avoid incidents.
An incident happens when civilians are killed, prisoners mistreated or some other event that is photographed, videotaped and then flashed around the world. This results in an Incident, capital I, that triggers much artificial soul-searching by the media which spends the next two years beating the incident to death and flogging its corpse across television programs, newspaper articles, books, documentaries and finally, if it's a big enough incident, a real life movie version that is based on the book, which was based on the article, where the idealistic reporter/lawyer/activist who uncovered the truth about the incident will be played by Matt Damon or George Clooney.
. . . In Israel, the last time the military was sent to win a war, was 1973. Since then the military has been used as a police force and to battle militias in Lebanon, Gaza and the West Bank. In the Territories, the ideal Israeli soldier was supposed to be able to dodge rocks thrown by teenagers hired by Time correspondents looking to score a great photo. Today the ideal Israeli soldier is capable of visiting an American college campus to dodge the overpriced textbooks hurled at him by the local branch of Students for Justice in Palestine or the International Socialist Organization, while explaining why the IDF is the most moral army in the world except for the Salvation Army.

The Obamacare waiver winner's club now totals 2,000. Where are they now?
Almost all of our Founding Fathers, the most brilliant authors and orators of all time, were home-schooled.
When Islamic advocate Ahmed Bedier traveled to Santa Clara County a few months ago to lend support for a proposed Islamic center, he declared that opposition to the mosque was "Islamophobic" in nature.
The California Dept. of Corrections announced it planned to begin a review of more than 9,200 outstanding arrest warrants of parole violators to determine if pursuing these convicted felons would be in the "interest of justice."
We don't have all the details of former CIA Director Petraeus' testimony to congressional Intelligence Committees, but it looks like the American people were grossly misled about the Benghazi attack.
by ADAM TURNER
Having the American Ambassador in Benghazi with no American security guards, poorly-trained, largely unarmed, and possibly Islamist-if not-al-Qaeda supportive Libyan security personnel, and no real secure consulate, is nothing short of scandalous.
Seven years ago the Israeli government decided to forcibly evict the Jewish residents of Gaza and withdraw all bases and forces from the area.
Finally, President Obama has confirmed it was specifically "at the request of the White House" that on the Sunday after the Sept. 11 terrorist onslaught in Benghazi,Susan Rice, appeared as the face of his administration on five TV news talk shows to discuss this debacle.
The attacks on Israel were ordered by Khamenei and the support for Syria's dictator Bashar Assad come from Khamenei.
Florida's election procedures are - still - a disaster in the making.
Until Friday, there were two possible explanations for why the White House failed to immediately call the Benghazi attack an act of terrorism. One was incompetence, the other was worse.
NOVEMBER 18, 2012
The White House denied it edited talking points about the terrorist attack that killed the American ambassador to Libya - contradicting remarks made a day earlier by David Petraeus.
