HOCKEY CANADA SUMMER SHOWCASEshowcase
2011 Skills Camp The inaugural Hockey Canada Summer Showcase wrapped up on August 15, 2015 with the National Women's Development Team and National Women's U18 Team Selection Camp playing a pair of intra-squad games.
The Showcase kicked off on July 28, 2015 as the top 110 male U17 players touched down in Calgary to play for a spot on one (1) of three (3) national teams (Red, White and Black) and compete at the World U17 Hockey Challenge.
The top male U18 players then started their quest to wear the red and white on Canada's National Men's U18 Team that headed to the Ivan Hlinka.
The World Junior Showcase featured Russia, the Czech Republic and Canada playing six (6) games. Canada finished with a 3-0-1 record out-scoring their opponents 19-7.
BC was well represented at the Summer Showcase.  Of the 192 players in attendance, 26 BC players were invited.

HOW TO SHAPE A GOALIE CATCHERSFS

Your goalie catcher is an amazing piece of equipment, constructed with features that will allow you to work the glove into a shape that will maximize its catching abilities.
Many goalie equipment manufacturers create catchers that have a decent right-off-the-shelf feel, but breaking in the glove yourself is a necessary process.
Source For Sports offers several services to help you break in your goalie glove. Our goalie specialists speak your language and will help you elevate your performance in the crease.
