North Island Team Knows What it Takes to Be a Teammate
It has been an eventful year for the North Island Impact Regional Bantam A team as one (1) of their goalies, 14 year old Olivia Davis, was diagnosed with Lukemia just before Christmas. Since hearing of her diagnosis, the team has rallied together to support Olivia and her family by fundraising, visiting her in the hospital, sending car packages to lift her spirits and generally supporting her and her family in any way they can.

The team got special "STAY STRONG 35" shirts made just to show Olivia their support. She loves them and loves to see how many people are standing strong for her and her family while she receives treatment at the Children's hospital in Vancouver. The front of the shirt reads 'Can it Cancer, I'm not in the mood' as one of Olivia's favorite sayings is 'can it kid, I'm not in the mood.'

Because of "Cheese's" diagnosis, the North Island Impact team has truly learned what it means to be a teammate!
