City Holds Community Choice Energy Workshop
City Staff and the City Council appointed Community Choice Energy Citizen Advisory Committee held a public workshop this past Wednesday, April 5, 2017  to discuss Community Choice Energy and the options available to the City.

Approximately 35 residents and business owners attended the Wednesday's meeting.  Representatives from MCE Clean Energy, a local, not-for-profit energy provider, discussed their programs relating electricity generation.  Although East Bay Community Energy, the start-up local electricity program in Alameda County, was invited to the meeting, they were unable to attend.  The resident issues and concern brought up at the workshop will be brought back to the City Council in the next month.
