Be sure to include the Mandatory State Fee (SB1186) of $1 with your renewal. Oakley Water Play Spray Features Now Open
|
With the easing of water restrictions by the State and Diablo Water District, the City of Oakley Parks Division has now activated its water spray play features for use during the summer. A delay in opening them was due to vandalism of the systems.
A smaller water spray feature is located Creekside Park ( 3900 Creekside Way) and a multiple water spray feature is located at Nunn-Wilson Family Park (100 Oxford Drive). The park water spray features will be open daily, with Nunn-Wilson Park operating noon - 5:00 p.m. and Creekside Park operating 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., continuing through Labor Day, September 5, 2016 and then closing. The operating "open" days have been reduced as the City is conscious of the need to continue to conserve water resources.
The water spray features are free and provide great fun for the kids, especially on hot summer days.
