Live Oak Avenue Traffic Safety Improvements
|
There will be new signing and striping installed along Live Oak Avenue in front of Orchard Park School to improve the traffic and parking operations in this area. There has been work done on concepts to improve the safety for pedestrians and motorists on Live Oak Avenue in front of the school. These improvements will be installed in the next few weeks.

What Homeowners Need to Know About Building Codes
|
Have you had a contractor ask you to "pull a permit in your name" to save them time? Or, when you ask your contractor "Is a permit necessary? They reply "it will be an added cost." Though these are not common occurrences, there are times when home improvement projects are built without the required permits. When this happens the consequences can be both costly and time consuming.

Career Night at Freedom High School
|
The evening will begin with a guest speaker followed by a series of speakers around campus who will focus on different career choices. There will be presentations from a variety of field representatives including construction, video games, genetics, and cosmetology to name a few. Career Night will take place in the MPR at Freedom High School on February 17th at 6:00 p.m. with dinner available to purchase at 5:30 p.m.

Positions available include Seasonal Parks and Landscape Maintenance Laborer (open until filled), Facilities Attendant (Deadline: 5pm on 2/8/2016), and Sports Field Maintenance Laborer (Open until filled, first review on 2/22).
