Christmas Tree Lighting Recap
The City of Oakley held its annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony this past Saturday, Dec. 5th. An estimated 1500 guests joined us to enjoy the festive music, decorations and entertainment. Santa Claus took time out of his busy holiday schedule to visit with all the children and pose for family photos. Guests helped to count down to the lighting of the grand 30' tree at which time snow began to fall in Oakley.  The "snow" was a huge hit with kids and families and provided a great start to the holiday season.
