Girl Scouts Learn About City Business
|
On Tuesday afternoon, City Hall and Staff were visited by the cheerful Girl Scouts of Troop 33670. While here, the girls pretended to be the Councilmembers at a Council Meeting, accepting public comments from none other than their moms! They also toured the facility, met K-9 Oleg, as well as various Police and City Staff. There learnings will surely equal an additional patch on their uniforms. Kudos on the accomplishment.
The City of Oakley invites student, community, service, and other groups to visit City Hall for a tour. To set up a tour contact Linda Gonzalez at gonzalez@ci.oakley.ca.us.
