You're not dreaming, there really are goats roaming the grassy fields of the City of Oakley. The City has embarked on this cost effective, creative, and environmentally friendly alternative to weed abatement. The goats took their first nibble on Monday, February 23rd along the levee on East Cypress Road. The goats are expected to clear approximately 30 acres and will stay busy as they move on to several detention basins and other areas along Marsh Creek.
