Hunger Awareness Month Was a Success!

Matthew 25 Outreach Ministry Team had a busy month! In October we partnered with Children and Family Ministry, Youth and Family Ministry, and Seeds of Faith Preschool to make a big impact on Hunger Awareness Month. We collected an abundance of food for the DMARC Food Pantry, hich was delivered last week. Over 200 people attended the Rise Up Tour concert at Faith which raised $2,329.17 benefiting both ELCA World Hunger and DMARC and the noisy offerings raised $454.72! We packaged and delivered 600 snack bags to Children and Family Urban Movement (CFUM). We could not accomplish this without your support - thank you!

In November, we will donate funds to CFUM for their Thanksgiving meal and collect food for Crestview Elementary Holiday Food Baskets. Matthew 25 will host a breakfast burrito fundraiser on Sunday, December 6. Monetary contributions to Matthew 25 can be made in the church office.
