Children's Religious Education for June 7

We are beginning a new theme for the summer, focusing on world religions.  The children will read the book "Sacred Spaces" and explore various precious spaces for different paths.

Baja Four Monthly Themes
The first ever monthly theme survey has been completed and next year's programming themes for all four Southern Arizona UU congregations have been chosen!
Sept - Community: Beloved Community
Oct - Spirit: What's Your Song?
Nov - Justice: Voices for the Voiceless
Dec - Community: Comfort for the Afflicted
Jan - Spirit: Forgiven and Forgiving
Feb - Justice: Soul Force
Mar - Community: Weaving the Web
Apr - Spirit: Relating To It All
May - Justice: Future Earth
Jun - Community: Hearts and Minds
Jul - Spirit: Growing in Spirit
Aug - Justice: Steps to Justice
As you can see, we've not only found themes for each month, but also three threads: Community, Spirit and Justice.
Thank you, for sharing your time and your perspective.

New Name tags for Everyone (Members and Friends)
Last Sunday we started passing out everyone's new name tags with the new church name and logo.  We shall continue to do so next Sunday immediately following the church service.  Look for Jean MacKeen in the Fellowship room corner by the bookcase.  You will need to choose either a hanging or clip-on style.  The style may be changed at a later date if needed.  If your name is not in the current directory, or if you are not sure if it is, and you would like a name tag, please email jeanmackeen@yahoo.com. Thanks for your help.

Singers Awake!
All you need is the desire to come together with some other UUs and have some fun singing.  Simply sign up on the sign up sheet on the information table in Fellowship Hall. It's high time Sky Island UUC woke up the sleeping singers; carpe diem and send in your name now! Don't even think about it.  Just do it.

For Those Singers Ready to Start Singing!
Come to the sanctuary this Sunday, 6/7, immediately after the service, for a quick organizational meeting.  Bring your calendars and your ideas.

Bisbee Pride Weekend June 19-21
