Limited Openings for both U07 & U08

At Buckingham United, we recognize that there are many talented and dedicated U8 and U7 (born in 2009 and 2010) players playing CBAA Soccer. With our Academy, Buckingham United offers a dedicated soccer environment to continue to nurture player development and prepare them for a higher-level soccer.
 
Buckingham United aligns with the US Soccer mandated age group changes and player development initiatives and therefore encourages U07 and U08 players to commit to training at a recreational level. Our Academy training offers players a supplemental training to their recreational teams. Academy offers the opportunity to accelerate the technical development of players to prepare them to participate in U9 travel when they are eligible. In addition, Academy provides U7 and U8 players the opportunity to train with Buckingham United Director of Coaching and Technical Directors.
 
Session Details
  • Friday evenings indoor sessions at SMG SportsPlex  (654 York Road Warminster). Due to indoor space constraints, space will be limited - register early to secure a spot.
  • 6:00pm - 7:00pm
  • Cost $125 - including a ball for each player as a gift with registration
  • 8 sessions - starting Friday, January 13th thru Friday, March 10th (no session on February 17th)
  • Player Kits are required for training sessions and game festivals (just $32). The player kit consists of an Academy solar yellow jersey, blue Adidas shorts and blue Adidas socks and is available for purchase during registration.  Kits may be re-used for each season (Fall, Winter, Spring)
  • Kevin Blokker and Bree Benedict will direct the BUSC U7 and U8 Academy trainings and will utilize Buckingham United's in-house training staff. Kevin Blokker is the Director of Coaching for Buckingham United and Bree Benedict is the Lead Technical Director for Buckingham United.
  • BUSC U7 / U8 Academy is considered a pre-travel program.

Academy Uniform
New Uniforms!

Player Kits are new this year required for training sessions and game festivals (just $32).  

 

The player kit consists of an Academy

solar yellow jersey, blue adidas shorts and blue adidas socks and is available for purchase during registration. May be re-used for each season (Fall, Winter, Spring).  

 

Jersey is available separately for returning Academy players who already have the shorts and socks from last season.

Buckingham United Coaching



Kevin Blokker, Buckingham United Director of Coaching will oversee the program.

Bree Benedict, Buckingham United's Lead Technical Director will direct the BUSC U07 and U08 Academy training.

Buckingham United's in-house training staff of Josh Isaacsohn, Michael Price and Troy Czapor.

Highlights of the Program:
  • The Academy is a non-results oriented style of training that promotes development. The purpose is to shield kids from the' win at all cost' mentality that plagues youth sports today, and put the focus back on the enjoyment and growth aspects.
  • The Academy provides professional training by Buckingham United's DOC and TD to give the IM/Recreational player a taste of travel soccer without the added cost and commitment.
  • Each season the Academy enter teams into festivals that give players a chance to represent not only our Academy but also the future of Buckingham United!
