Soccer Referee Course Announcement
 
Buckingham United and CBAA Soccer are pleased to announce that we will host an upcoming Grade 8 License Referee Course.    
 
Dates:  1st session of course is Sunday, February 28th
2nd session Monday, February 29th USSF Referee Badge  
3rd session Sunday, March 6 
4th session Monday March 7th 
Final Class and Exam Sunday March 13th 
Times: 6:00 - 9:00 pm(approx) each night
Location: Central Bucks Ambulance, 455 East Street, Doylestown
 
This license allows all levels of Youth play, both centering and lining, then this is for you. 
  • Annual re-certification is required. Referee Grade 8 (this is not School Grade- it's a Referee classification) is the "traditional" starting point for most referees, the class is a 16 hour clinic. 
  • Most referees in Eastern PA are Grade 8 referees, as this provides the most opportunity. More info can be found at the  Eastern PA Referee Association website
  • Referee Uniform and equipment are not included in class fee, but will be available for purchase during class for a discounted rate.
Registration Information
  • Before you register for this course, please click here to review course prerequisites and mandatory clearances that need to be completed and Soccer Refereereceived by first night of the class by all students- adults and minors.  Please read thoroughly.
    • Background Clearance laws have been established by the state of PA and must be followed.  Copies of the clearances MUST be brought to the first class. Failure to supply the confirmation pages will disqualify you from attending the class. NO EXCEPTIONS. 
      Please begin your clearance process immediately to insure you receive your documents in time for the course.
  • Course fee is $110.00, Credit or debit cards only for course payment.
  • You must attend all sessions, no exceptions. This is a 5 evening course. (4 nights of class room sessions, and 1 test night session that includes how to find referee jobs)
  • You must pass the final exam with a grade of 75 or higher.
  • You must be 14 years of age by the last day of the class, March 13, 2016. APPLY now
