Soccer Referee Course Update
 
Thank you for answering our survey regarding your interest in the Grade 8 License Referee Soccer Referee Course. Based on the survey, the 1st and 2nd weeks in August worked best.  We are awaiting our application approval for the following course:
 
Dates:  Sunday, August 2nd - Thursday, August 6th
Times: 6:30 - 9:30 pm(approx) each night
Location: Central Bucks Ambulance, 455 East Street, Doylestown
We did request the 2nd week as a second choice, should no instructors be available.
 

As a reminder, this license allows all levels of Youth play, both centering and lining, then this is for you. 

  • Annual re-certification is required. Referee Grade 8 (this is not School Grade- it's a Referee classification) is the "traditional" starting point for most referees, the class is a 16 hour clinic. 
  • Most referees in Eastern PA are Grade 8 referees, as this provides the most opportunity. More info can be found at the Eastern PA Referee Association website.

Registration Information

  
Once approved, we will notify you of the opening of the priority registration by email. After 24 hours, we will open to the public, as required by the Referee Association.  We are limited to the first 30 registered and paid students.  These courses have a history of a quick sell out. If you know someone that is interested, but did NOT answer our survey, please send them this link to be added to our mailing list. 
  • Course fee is $110.00, Credit or debit cards only for course payment.
  • Referee kit/uniform is not included, kit price is approximately $68.00
  • You must attend all sessions, no exceptions. This is a 5 evening course. (4 nights of class room sessions, and 1 test night session)
  • You must also pass the final exam with a grade of 75 or higher.
  • You must be 14 years of age by the last day of the class, February 2, 2015. (no exceptions).
Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email with class details.  
 Current Entry Level Classes.   In order to pass the Entry Level course, students must:

  • Complete a Background Check (if 18 yrs or older) prior to the first class.

  • Complete the Online Modules by the first class.  Bring Certificates to the Class Instructor.

  • Attend all 5 classroom sessions.

  • The test is given during the 5th session. You must attend all 5 classroom sessions in order to take the test.

  • If you fail the test, a makeup test will be scheduled, on a different night.  Location and time to be determined by Instructor.
