What are the age brackets?

Be sure to choose your age bracket for the Fall.  Click here for the current EPYSA Age Brackets. You should register for the next year's brackets. 

Is there a fee to try out?

No, there are no fees associated with tryouts.  Money is due to confirm your child's commitment once they have been offered a spot on the team.

Who tries out?

All existing BU players must be evaluated each year, along with any new players wishing to play on a BU team. 

What is a typical tryout like?

Players will typically scrimmage and play small-sided games while evaluators and coaches observe. 

How long will try outs be?

Players are evaluated on 2 separate nights, typically 1.5 hours long 

What should a player bring to tryouts? 

Bring a water bottle, wear shin guards, and bring a pumped-correct size ball. 

We are new to Travel, could we still register and play Intramurals? 

Yes, typically your practices for the Fall season start up in August, so you can get a full season in with Recreational Soccer. 

Can parents stay and watch the try outs?

Absolutely! But we do ask that you stay invisible, no cheering or coaching from the sidelines.  Our Director of Coaching, or the age group coaches will address the parents at the conclusion of the tryout session.
