The Highway 101 construction project is making great progress and we look forward to its completion! Recently, the City of Solana Beach announced in an effort to assist local business owners, they have waived the 2013 Business Certificate and Inspection fee for businesses adjacent to the Highway 101 construction activities. If the fee has already been paid for 2013, the City will provide a refund upon request. Please contact Project Manager, Dan Goldberg at 858-720-2474 for more information.

Circa on Cedros On February 2 from 1-3p.m., Gentleman Norman, a well-dressed Pomeranian who has been featured on Good Morning America, will make an appearance at the jewelry and home decor boutique. He will provide a book signing (pawtograph) and meet and greet, while Circa on Cedros showcases its newest collection of locally designed jewelry. Gift bags will be provided for the first 50 guests to attend, and light bites and drinks will also be provided. A portion of the proceeds from the book sales will go to Alzheimer's Association San Diego and their Imperial Chapter.

Small Business Referral Center
The Solana Beach Chamber is available to members as a business-related information resource. Many times we can answer a question directly. However, many questions require professional consultation. To deal with such questions, we have put in place a referral system centered in the Chamber which gives our Members access to resource persons in the various areas such as law, real estate, insurance, accounting, etc.
The Member resource persons referred to might be able or willing to answer the question right away, or alternatively offer a free or discounted first meeting, or make any other arrangement they chose.
