Important Updates:
Due to voter approval of Proposition 30, the statewide sales and use tax rate will increase one quarter of one percent (0.25%) on January 1, 2013. The higher tax rate will apply for four years - January 1, 2013 through December 31, 2016.
The tax rate for Solana Beach is 8% effective January 1, 2013.

Small Business Referral Center
The Solana Beach Chamber is available to members as a business-related information resource. Many times we can answer a question directly. However, many questions require professional consultation. To deal with such questions, we have put in place a referral system centered in the Chamber which gives our Members access to resource persons in the various areas such as law, real estate, insurance, accounting, etc.
The Member resource persons referred to might be able or willing to answer the question right away, or alternatively offer a free or discounted first meeting, or make any other arrangement they chose.
