Special Alert --- Volume 7 --- Issue 11
Southbound I-35 Between US 30 & Iowa 210 is Closed
For Emergency Repairs
The southbound lanes of Interstate 35 between U.S. 30 and Iowa 210 in Story County are closed for emergency repair work, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation's District 1 office.

Motorists will be detoured around the closure using U.S. 30 to U.S. 69, to Iowa 210, and then back on to I-35.

The Iowa DOT reminds motorists to drive with caution, obey the posted speed limit and other signs in the work area, and be aware that traffic fines for moving violations are at least double in work zones. As in all work zones, drivers should stay alert, allow ample space between vehicles, and wear seat belts.

Visit www.511ia.org; call 511 (within Iowa) or 800-288-1047 (nationwide) for more information.
