This full-time, with benefits position assists with the care, feeding and maintenance of the education animal collection, behavior training of the collection, developing/presenting on-site and off- site educational programs and stage shows, and instructing/working with volunteers on handling live animals.

Chabot Programs & Community Partnership Coordinator

Programs & Community Partnerships Coordinator is responsible for planning and delivery of programs, building community and programmatic partnerships, events and activities for public audiences in order to increase visitor attendance and revenue generation. Working directly with the  Senior Manager of Visitor Engagement, responsibilities include daily coordination of 18-month rolling calendar, working with adult and teen volunteers, and appropriate visitor experience staff in order to deliver programs, events and activities. This role supports the day-to-day delivery of "wow customer service" and fun and unique public programs. This role helps to maintain community partnership relationships in support of unique program delivery.

Chabot On-Call Science Instructor

The primary responsibilities of this position are to teach science classes and workshops on an on-call basis during days, evenings and weekends for various audiences participating in Chabot Space & Science Center educational programs, both onsite at the science center and offsite during outreach programs delivered in the community.

Constellation Brands Lab Technician I

The Laboratory technician performs the duties and responsibilities of the Laboratory with a primary emphasis on accurate and reproducible results. Work closely with winemaking and cellar staff to assure accurate and timely results. Run basic Laboratory analysis including SO2, Ethanol, Total acidity, pH, cold and heat stabilities, Dissolved Oxygen and CO2. Utilize the spectrophotometer for wine analysis (Optical Density and Phenolics) Collect samples for analysis from the cellar and barrel room.

Projects can include response to unexpected or sudden events, those that have a short opportunity to access data, facilities or specialized equipment or problems that require immediate attention.

Groundwater Research Scholarship
Groundwater Resource Association of California Scholarship
The Central Coast branch of the Groundwater Resources Association of California (GRAC) has scholarship funds up to $2500 available for distribution to college and graduate students performing research on groundwater resources in the Central Coast branch region (generally, Monterey, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties). GRAC wishes to support student research related to groundwater issues, water resources management, water recycling and other proposals related to groundwater research. We also have funds available for students who would like to attend the 30th Biennial Groundwater Conference & 24th Groundwater Resources Association of Calif 

ornia Annual Meeting in Sacramento on October 6 & 7, 2015.
