Author Lynn Villamaria Fountain "Pathway of Angels" When Lynn was diagnosed with a pancreatic tumor and she was facing surgery at the Mayo Clinic, her doctors suggested she write letters to her young sons so they would have something to remember her by in the event the unthinkable happened. The outcome of the surgery was uncertain. She was faced with reflecting on her life, and thus began her awareness of the "Pathway of Angels" in her life. Lynn realized that no matter what she ever faced in her life, God had sent an angel to encourage, intercept, guide her, or even save her life. She knew she was never alone. The Pathway of Angels has helped her understand what life is really about. She's learned to cope in a difficult world and find happiness within, and they've taught her the pathway of life in the process.
Author Patti Janacaro "Prayer Did It" Patti's husband, Larry, was dying. Every major organ except his heart was shutting down and he had zero white blood cells. After Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome, four code blues, six weeks in a coma, dialysis treatments, chest drains, blood transfusions and more, she was told he was dying. Larry's family would not give up. They prayed, along with numerous prayer chains, against the odds. They prayed for white cells, as Larry had no chance of recovery without them. Only hours away from being taken off life support, the white cells appeared and he started recovering immediately! Their prayers were answered as they witnessed a miracle. |
Chamber Music The Chambers family has played classical and bluegrass in the Kansas City and surrounding areas for more than 10 years now, with Mom on bass and the five kids on varied string instruments. As the older two boys have grown and graduated from college, the younger three handle the band performances now.
Dominic, 18, is a midshipman in the Navy ROTC at University of Missouri, majoring in nursing; Sophie, 14, is a sophomore tackling the classics of Rome this year and Latin III; John, 12, handles violin and bass, and is deep into adjusting to middle school priorities.

Jeanette Werth Jeanette is first a lover of God and the Catholic faith; along with these come a talent for playing the guitar and singing. Her love for music has always been a part of her life, serving in music ministry since she was age 13 at St Gabriel the Archangel parish. She was cantor at many funerals and weddings from the age of 18. She led music for Mass and communion services while being deployed to Afghanistan. She continued serving in music ministry at St Gabriel both in the choir and the praise band for the youth Mass, eventually leading the band. Jeanette's recent marriage brought her to St. Andrew the Apostle parish, where she now leads a group of fully energized youth and young adults who commit to use their God-given gifts every Sunday at the Lifeteen Mass. Jeanette writes music and has written songs for Communion and Presentation of Gifts, as well as the music for the Psalms and Gloria used every Sunday. She believes " Music frees the soul of what weighs us down and allows us to express ourselves to our God in a way that pours ourselves forth." |
