Weekly Update

Finally some nice weather! We can get out, get active and get together! We're finishing up the Summer Newsletter and getting ready for all the fun that summer brings. A peek for you, you'll want to save July 23rd for our annual Family Fun Day at Breezy Picnic Grounds and the week of August 20- 24th for Family Fun Days at Camp. We're back at Camp Marshall, and will be holding camp from Sunday through Thursday, as that worked out very well for families with two working parents and families whose kids receive ABA services last year.

Also, if you are a golfer, or know golfers be sure to save the date August 18th for our annual Tee Up for Autism Golf Tournament, scroll down for more details.

We'll continue to have Friday Fun Days out in the community, it will be, out of necessity, scaled back some in what it costs but there are many low cost options for fun in the community that will be enjoyable and a chance to network with other families.

This weekend we'll be at Purgatory Chasm for Family Fun, the Sibshoppers are all busy so we've cancelled the year end cookout, we'll see you all next year!  If YOU'RE not busy, come out and enjoy the outdoors, I've never been to Purgatory Chasm so I'm excited!

Have a great week,

2017 Guiding Stars Awards

This year, we celebrate HMEA's Autism Resource Central working with families in central Massachusetts for 20 years. Over the years we have grown in the numbers of families served. The goal of the Center is to promote the well being of people with autism at home, at school, and in the community. Many people/groups have helped us in this journey and we would like to thank them for making a difference in our lives.

Make your nomination by August 25th, 2017 and winners will be honored during our celebration gala on
October 20, 2017, at Cyprian Keyes Golf Club, Boylston, MA.

We invite you to join us that day as we recognize the winners and celebrate the contributions made in the autism community over the last 20 years. Tickets to the event are $75.00. More details on how to register will be announced.
