ARBOR DAY IN NEBRASKA IS APRIL 26TH!
Now is the time to think about spring tree planting.
As the seasons have turned and City of Wahoo property owners are turning their attention to their lawn and landscape, they are reminded that City ordinance requires any property owner intending to plant in the "sidewalk space" (between the curb and sidewalk) to first obtain a planting permit from the City. The City's tree ordinance specifies proper planting distances and acceptable tree varieties that may be planted. Tree planting permits are available through the Parks and Recreation Deparment.
Visit our website at www.wahoociviccenter.com and scroll down to the bottom of the front page for complete community tree program details including printable forms and guidelines.
