This Friday
We will assemble again at the Elk's Club this Friday, April 1st, no foolin'. Our speaker will be David Arns and the subject will be Quincy's Hospitality House. Since 1998, the Quincy Hospitality House has been a place to rest for patients and families accessing healthcare in Quincy. Should be a good one to bring a guest and enjoy Quincy's finest hour!
Friday Last

We did not hold a meeting last week on Good Friday, but apparently that didn't stop five Exchangites from showing up Friday at noon at the Elks Lodge for a non-existent meeting. Surveillance cameras revealed all five members who apparently don't read their bulletin each week.
I suggest that those five people remember me in their wills or I just might have to reveal their names at a future meeting. Remember, the writer of this wonderful weekly also doubles as a Tail-Twister at times. Have your lawyers include my name in the will and contact my attorney, Bill Cheatem of Dewey, Cheatem & Howe. This 'n That

It is with a tremendous amount of regret that I announce that I am writing my final bulletin for the Quincy Exchange Club. I have decided to tender my resignation from the Club as well. It has been fun being a member of the Exchange Club for the past 27 years. I will miss all of you and wish you well in the future.

With no meeting, there was no prayer delivered last Friday but with it being Easter weekend, I hope you heard a prayer sometime last Sunday.

We also had no Pledge of Allegiance either. If you are feeling a patriotic void, I suggest you go to a hockey game and listen to the Star Spangled Banner to satisfy your patriotic needs. You might even get to hear "O'Canada" as well. Two anthems for the price of one.

The 50-50 Card Draw, worth over $395 will resume this Friday unless our guest is a Government official from the gambling commission. The deck has now diminished to 31 cards as the pot escalates for this Friday drawing.

Line of the Week

A man is driving along a highway and sees a rabbit jump out in front of his car. Unfortunately, the man ran over the rabbit. He stopped the car and got out to look at it and found that it was The Easter Bunny. The driver feels awful and begins to cry. Just then, a beautiful woman stops her car and gets out to comfort the man. She asks what is wrong? He replied that he just ran over and killed the Easter Bunny. The woman says "don't worry" and goes to her car and pulls out a can of hair spray and proceeds to spray the contents of the can on the Easter Bunny. The Easter Bunny jumps up and waves its paw and hops down the road continuing to wave. He waves until he can't be seen waving anymore. The driver is astonished and he asked the woman "what is in that can?" She gave the man the can to read the label which said "Hare Spray that restores life to dead hare and adds permanent wave. Hope you had a better Easter than this joke was!
