Spotlight:

Every month, the AHA Insider showcases one of our employees. We want to give our readers an insight as to who works for AHA and what they do for the association.

Jennifer Brown

As one of the newest editions to the AHA staff, I am just beginning to get my feet wet. The role as accounting supervisor entails many aspects such as ensuring the accuracy of accounting records, supporting accounting staff and implementing and reinforcing accounting guidelines. I am passionate about building relationships with internal and external contacts and am looking forward to more face time with our staff, board members and membership holders. I have worked in accounting since 1997 and just recently obtained my degree in accounting from CSU-Global which will help me further my work at AHA.

When I am not at work you can find me with my children and dogs. I have a 19-year-old son, Kyler who recently moved to Buffalo, N.Y. to spread his wings. I also have a 14-year-old son, DeAnte who is in his first year of high school. DeAnte and I love going to the dog park with our 2-year-old rottweiler Jasmin and our 3-year-old lab mix Samantha. We also enjoy taking road trips and adventuring around our beautiful state.

include Arabian Mounted Native Costume, Western Pleasure and Country English Pleasure. The athleticism and
