It's Almost Time to 'Name A Future Legend!
Thank you to all who participated in AHA and ChriShan Park's 'Name a Future Legend,' foal naming contest.
At Youth Nationals, we kicked off the contest and you submitted names for a 2015 foal, sired by CSP Grand Caymon (Mamage x JJ Sioux Hope) and out of CSP AngelFire (Afire Bey V x Barbarys Angel+//). Approximately 200 names were submitted and ChriShan Park narrowed those names down to a Top 5.
The Top 5 selected names are:
CSP Jamaica Bey, submitted by Amy Beck
CSP Hot in Caymon, submitted by Karen Schankin
CSP Caribbean Fire, submitted by Grace Handlos
CSP Imon Fire, submitted by Anna Holt
CSP Caymon Onfire, submitted by Sharon Beckwith
In September you voted for your favorite of these Top 5 names and it's almost time to unveil the name of the 'future legend.'
On Friday, Oct. 24 at approximately 7 PM, watch the live feed on Arabian Horse Global to see a presentation of the foal's sire, CSP Grand Caymon and the winning name revealed during Finals Night at U.S. Nationals in Tulsa, Okla. The individual who submitted the winning name will receive a 1-year complimentary AHA membership, a bracelet with the engraved name and bragging rights! The foal will be registered with AHA with the winning name.
