Club Membership Drive Underway

The 2013 Club Membership Drive rewards clubs for signing up new members by offering the top 5 winning clubs one free delegate registration each for the 2013 AHA Convention. Clubs around North America are getting creative with their outreach methods. Here's what AHA of Indiana is doing:

"We find out what new members' interests are and use that," AHA of Indiana Club President Terry Leek says. "We ask an existing member involved in that interest to contact the new person. We reach out to those new members to make them feel welcome and give them direction. Its like a mentoring program along the way. We really go out of our way to listen to the members and what they want. The board talks about the questions and suggestions from the members at our public meetings to make sure they get addressed. It lets the members know they are being heard."

Visit ArabianHorses.org/CMD for complete contest information and email conventioncoordinator@arabianhorses.org with your success stories.
