Region 7 Show Designed for the Exhibitor

The Region 7 Show, April 25-28, with ASHO4U pres-show April 23-24, at WestWorld will once again focus on designing a show for the exhibitor, using lessons learned from last year's successful show to continue to improve the experience for all exhibitors. Here's what's in store, thanks to our hard working Commission:

  • Upgraded, super-sized premium, thanks to designer, Irene Wells
  • Improved Championship Belt Buckles, reflecting a brand new year
  • Improved and expanded WestWorld facility with center ring classes in the newly enclosed and Equidome.
  • Fun Friday and Saturday night schedules, including some excellent halter and performance classes on Saturday evening
  • Reworked schedule for the Working Western Division, thanks to Commissioner, Jessica Bein. Trail and Reining will span two days during the pre-show and three days during Regionals, with special attention paid to keeping kids in school.
  • Brand new cutting, working cow an reined cow classes included in the regular Region 7 show, on Saturday for the pre-show and Sunday for Regionals
  • New cutting, working cow and reined cow classes fully integrated into The Ultimate Futurity - an excellent tool by which exhibitors can win prize money and buckles
  • New working western division manager with stellar credentials - Cindy Reid
  • Challenging trail courses designed by Ruth Sintay
  • New, sponsored, Working Western Patron's tent between Rings 6 and 7, facing Ring 6, which includes a cash bar on Thursday and Friday evenings
  • Split sport horse in-hand classes to include both dressage and hunter types in both open and Amateur to Handle divisions, thanks to a generous donation from Bazy Tankersley and Al-Marah Arabians
  • Junior to handle classes added to sport horse in-hand division due to last year's large entry numbers in open and amateur divisions
  • "Own the Class" option for $250; sponsor the rose garland and championship and buckle. Sponsor's name displayed in the win photo and announced!
  • Full slate of youth activities planned for the show (listed on page 30 in the premium), including an all-age Ice Cream Social Saturday afternoon, sponsored by Sshameless++, the 2013 AHA Ambassador Award winner.
