Maritech Machine is a machine shop, manufacturing "mission critical" components for the undersea oil and gas industry, marine industries, military bases and various local and regional manufacturing facilities.  These important components are manufactured from various grades and alloys of steel, bronze, aluminum, titanium, as well as assorted types of industrial plastics and fibers.

Previous to her position with True North Logistics, Eleanor served as the Director of the Office of Small Business Programs at Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) since 2003. DSCC is DoD's Supply Chain Manager for the consumable parts used on Land and Maritime Weapon Systems. This includes over 2 million items for vehicles, guns, ships, missiles and electronic spare parts. DSCC award contracts annually in excess of $3 billion with more than 60% going to small business.

The Bay County Chamber is teaming up with Collette Vacations to send you to Italy and Discover Tuscany on 
March 8-17, 2016. 
 
During this 10-day vacation, you will visit Rome, Assis, Basilica of St. Francis, Montecatini Terme, Lucca, Gothic Line, San Gimignano and Florence.  You will experience the cuisine, the culture, the wine and the history of Italy.
 
For more information on this trip, please join us for an informational luncheon on Wednesday, September 30th, at 11:30 a.m. in the Chamber boardroom. There is no cost for the luncheon, but you must RSVP. 

Can't attend the lunch but still would like more information? An evening session will also be held on September 30th at 5:30 in the Chamber boardroom. There is no cost for this luncheon or evening session, but you must RSVP.

About Mac
The Military Affairs Committee (MAC) of the Bay County Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1946, and is rich in the history of providing good public relations between our military bases and the business community. 
 
The mission of MAC is to develop understanding, support and goodwill between our men and women in uniform and the local business and civic leaders. The committee stages various events and receptions to welcome visiting military officials and guests to the Bay County area.

Need Social Capital?
Business Referral Network (BRN) provides an opportunity for groups of business professionals to come together to network, share business leads and referrals with other group members.
 
BRN is available to any member in good standing with the Bay County Chamber of Commerce at no extra charge.
 
They must attend the scheduled bi-monthly meetings and one referral or lead is requested at each meeting. Members are encouraged to bring one guest (guest may be non-member).
 
A member may only join one Business Referral Network group. The Business Referral Group also makes sure no single business will be in direct competition with another member of the group. (For example, only one person in banking can be in each group.)
