We wrapped up our Membership Drive and welcomed 32 new members for the month of August! The Military Affairs Committee would like to encourage you to participate in the: FLAGS on the Bridge Salute to the Warrior Beach Retreat Military & Veterans,  Thursday, September 17th. Be at the bridge by 3:45pm so you're all set with your flag in time for their arrival about 4:15pm. DSCC is DoD's Supply Chain Manager for the consumable parts used on Land and Maritime Weapon Systems. This includes over 2 million items for vehicles, guns, ships, missiles and electronic spare parts. DSCC award contracts annually in excess of $3 billion with more than 60% going to small business.

The Bay County Chamber is teaming up with Collette Vacations to send you to Italy and Discover Tuscany on 
March 8-17, 2016. 
 
During this 10-day vacation, you will visit Rome, Assis, Basilica of St. Francis, Montecatini Terme, Lucca, Gothic Line, San Gimignano and Florence.  You will experience the cuisine, the culture, the wine and the history of Italy.
 
For more information on this trip, please join us for an informational luncheon on Wednesday, September 30th, at 11:30 a.m. in the Chamber boardroom. There is no cost for the luncheon, but you must RSVP. 

Can't attend the lunch but still would like more information? An evening session will also be held on September 30th at 5:30 in the Chamber boardroom. There is no cost for this luncheon or evening session, but you must RSVP.

The Military Affairs Committee (MAC) of the Bay County Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1946, and is rich in the history of providing good public relations between our military bases and the business community.

The Member to Member Discount is a special discount, pricing structure, service, or product that is extended only to other members of the Bay County Chamber of Commerce.

Your discount will be featured on the Chamber website www.panamacity.org, next to your business listing. If your business would like to participate, please visit this link and complete the form. Call the Chamber Office at 850-785-5206 with any questions.
Need Social Capital?
Business Referral Network (BRN) provides an opportunity for groups of business professionals to come together to network, share business leads and referrals with other group members.
 
BRN is available to any member in good standing with the Bay County Chamber of Commerce at no extra charge.
 
They must attend the scheduled bi-monthly meetings and one referral or lead is requested at each meeting. Members are encouraged to bring one guest (guest may be non-member).
 
A member may only join one Business Referral Network group. The Business Referral Group also makes sure no single business will be in direct competition with another member of the group. (For example, only one person in banking can be in each group.)
