Each year, the publication selects certain businesses in different states for their achievement in attracting high value investment projects that will create a significant number of jobs in their communities.
Just a quick reminder that First Friday with the Beach is the second Friday of July, on the 10th. Our office will be closed on July 3rd. We hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th of July!

QuickBooks Class
Want to learn more about QuickBooks? Or have your questions answered locally? USA Bookkeeping and Business Solutions has partnered with us to bring you this informational class. Sessions are split into 2 seven hour classes, spread over 2 consecutive weeks and each session includes a one hour lunch break.
July 14th and 21st 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. FSU Panama City Holley Academic Center (Room B101)
Session 1 will cover:
* Getting Started with QuickBooks
* Setting Up QuickBooks for your Business
* Working with Lists and Centers
* Entering Sales
* Receiving Payments & Making Deposit
Session 2 will cover:
* Customers and Managing Accounts Receivable
* Payables and Disbursements
* Reconciling Bank and Credit Card Accounts
* Other Useful Features Session 2 will begin with a one hour Q & A to allow for review and follow-up questions relating to Session 1, and to address specific areas of need for your individual business.

2015-2016 Class Applications
The Bay County Chamber of Commerce is currently accepting applications for the 2015-2016 Leadership Bay Class. Information about Leadership Bay and applications can be found by clicking here. Deadline to apply is August 7th. Participation in the program is limited.
Founded in 1983, Leadership Bay is a community leadership development program sponsored by the Bay County Chamber of Commerce. Based on the premise that people are our most important resource, the purpose of the program is to offer potential leaders a curriculum in community leadership training. Sessions are held every other Wednesday, beginning in October and running through May, to familiarize selected participants with issues and resources that directly impact the future of Bay County.

About Mac
The Military Affairs Committee (MAC) of the Bay County Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1946, and is rich in the history of providing good public relations between our military bases and the business community.
The mission of MAC is to develop understanding, support and goodwill between our men and women in uniform and the local business and civic leaders. The committee stages various events and receptions to welcome visiting military officials and guests to the Bay County area.
