It's a great day in Bay! Our Bay County Commission voted unanimously to bring back drivers education to Bay District Schools. The Junior Leadership Bay (JLB) Class did a stellar job presenting its case to the commission and they are all to be commended. Greg Wilson, Chairman, of the JLB Steering Committee, went above and beyond to lead and guide the students through the processes of government. Bay District Schools also stepped up to the plate showing their passion to see the program become a reality. Hat's off to all involved!

Last week, we presented a letter supporting a local preference ordinance in Panama City. Click here to view a story by the News Herald regarding the possibility of the ordinance.

The Military Affairs Committee is to be commended for sponsoring the 2015 Gulf Coast Salute. This is a great community event where our military members showcase their talents and accomplishments. To view photos from the event, click here.
