Just this morning, your Executive Committees of both the Bay County and PC Beach Chamber met for their quarterly breakfast. The purpose of these meetings is to keep an open line of communication between the two organizations and their leadership, as we all continue to work together for a better Bay.

The 2015 Gulf Coast Salute kicks off this weekend! We are a proud supporter of our military, and we look forward to sponsoring this event. For more information, click here.

Be sure to watch for your "Governmental Affairs Alert" indicating the date and time of our Junior Leadership Bay class presentation of its project to the Bay County Commission for consideration of funding. The class is putting the finishing touches on their efforts to bring drivers education back to our school system and we encourage you to attend the meeting to support this important program.

Show your appreciation for our wounded warriors on April 16th, at First Baptist Church, at 5:30 p.m. The parade starts at 4:15 p.m., travels from Laketown Wharf Resort on Thomas drive and ends at First Baptist church. For more information and parade route, please visit their website.

The Military Affairs Committee (MAC) of the Bay County Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1946, and is rich in the history of providing good public relations between our military bases and the business community.

The mission of MAC is to develop understanding, support and goodwill between our men and women in uniform and the local business and civic leaders. The committee stages various events and receptions to welcome visiting military officials and guests to the Bay County area.

Need Social Capital?

Business Referral Network (BRN) provides an opportunity for groups of business professionals to come together to network, share business leads and referrals with other group members.

BRN is available to any member in good standing with the Bay County Chamber of Commerce at no extra charge.

They must attend the scheduled bi-monthly meetings and one referral or lead is requested at each meeting. Members are encouraged to bring one guest (guest may be non-member).

A member may only join one Business Referral Network group. The Business Referral Group also makes sure no single business will be in direct competition with another member of the group. (For example, only one person in banking can be in each group.)
