Bay County Chamber of CommerceDecember 16, 2014
eBIZ newsletter

We have started the process of changing leadership here at the Chamber and working on our 2015 goals. If you would like to serve on a committee, now is the time to sign up. Click here for the 2015 Guide to Membership Opportunities to find out more about our committees.

Speaking of 2015, our First Friday with the Beach will be held on the second Friday of the month, January 9th, at FSU Panama City. More information is below.

Thank you to Congresswoman Elect Gwen Graham for meeting with our Chamber and community leadership to learn more about the Chamber's 2015 priorities on December 9th. She was very supportive our agenda and anxious to learn more about Bay County's needs.

Kudos to Port Panama City on their new crane that will be able to lift up to 100 tons that was commissioned last week. This is the most expensive piece of equipment that the Port has ever purchased.

Our Annual Dinner & Awards Ceremony will look back at the successes of this year and honor those who served in leadership roles. For more information on our largest event, see the details below.

We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Our office will be closed on December 25th and 26th. Our Christmas tree this year features business cards of our members. Please feel free to stop by our office and place your business card on our tree.

Need Social Capital?
Business Referral Network (BRN) provides an opportunity for groups of business professionals to come together to network, share business leads and referrals with other group members.

BRN is available to any member in good standing with the Bay County Chamber of Commerce at no extra charge.

They must attend the scheduled bi-monthly meetings and one referral or lead is requested at each meeting. Members are encouraged to bring one guest (guest may be non-member).

A member may only join one Business Referral Network group. The Business Referral Group also makes sure no single business will be in direct competition with another member of the group. (For example, only one person in banking can be in each group.)

Interested in joining? Contact Tamara at 215.3791 or Tamara@baychamberfl.com for availability.
