Greetings!
We've had some changes in leadership at both our excellent colleges. At Gulf Coast State College, we bid farewell to Dr. Jim Kerley and welcome Dr. John Holdnak. The selection committee certainly had their work cut out for them, but they could not have found a person that is more passionate about GCSC nor Bay County. Over at FSU, Dr. Ken Shaw is also leaving us as he and his wife head to Texas; we do sincerely wish him the best.
Speaking of changes, please welcome Aerial Payne to the Bay County Chamber of Commerce! She will serve as the Executive Assistant as Tamara Barnes has been promoted to Vice President of Membership Development. Welcome, Aerial!
If you are a member of a Business Referral Network (BRN), our all groups luncheon is this Thursday at the St. Andrew Bay Yacht Club. Please RSVP by tomorrow to Tamara at 215.3791.
Congratulations to our teams who placed in the 7th Annual Jungleball Volleyball Tournament held on May 12th at Boardwalk Beach Resort. A special thanks to the Gulf Coast State College Ladies Volleyball team and Coach Kyle Peck for scoring the tournament. Congratulations to Peaden for taking home first place!
We are wrapping up our Bay Biz Magazine for July which features the Red Snapper issue of limitations in Bay County and the economic impact. If you would like to be featured, contact Brittany at 215.3755.

Business Referral Network (BRN) provides an opportunity for groups of business professionals to come together to network, share business leads and referrals with other group members.
BRN is available to any member in good standing with the Bay County Chamber of Commerce.
They must attend the scheduled bi-monthly meetings and one referral or lead is requested at each meeting. Members are encouraged to bring one guest (guest may be non-member).
A member may only join one Business Referral Network group. The Business Referral Group also makes sure no single business will be in direct competition with another member of the group. (For example, only one person in banking can be in each group.)
