Greetings!
 A progressive Realtor's business isn't just about how we are going to trade today; it's about looking down the line at how they are going to service the needs of their clients, whether they be individuals or developers, nationals or people from overseas looking to invest in Los Cabos. So it was with real pleasure that I learned this week of our Marketing Division's significant plans not just for the next few months but for the whole of 2013 and 2014! I'm quietly excited by the boldness and innovation of our plans designed to meet perfectly the needs of our agents, and our clients. I'm committed to secrecy (you'll have to kill me to reveal all) but I look forward with real anticipation to unveiling these plans designed to meet the needs of a savvy, world wide client base; exciting times for Prudential and exciting times for Los Cabos my friends!
Recovering from the flood of valentine cards and roses I received (OK, let's move swiftly on here) what else has been going on? Well of course, the Bulletin wouldn't be the Bulletin without an occasional 'aww, isn't that cool/sweet/gorgeous/wonderful 'moment as see in the video (click above right) That action was filmed in Magdalena Bay but has gone viral and worldwide. Back on dry land but at the waters edge, Lot 20 at Playa de Rey, a superb site in this oceanfront, gated community has a new video. 
Our marketing chap had to return to the Farmers Market at Palmilla for a further interview with Juli Hunt of the Los Cabos Humane Society as the first video was drowned out by the excited noise of those boisterous girls from the Liga MAC Yes,Tally Chilvers, we're looking at you - quiet on set or we're going to make you stand in the naughty corner. (More on Liga MAC elsewhere in this issue)
Anyway, our video (right) explains briefly the work of the LCHS. Turn the volume up! Thank you to all those folks who wrote in and praised us for 'The Trail' video last week. it was a labor of love for a friend who is leaving Los Cabos and we're sorry to see them go (Not really Mike!) A very warm welcome to Michael Naylor who has joined our sales team. Michael, who will be based at our San Jose office has a wealth of experience in this market, particularly in San Jose; welcome aboard Michael! (get cracking!)  The demands, exciting though they are of delivery to you an up to date weekly newsletter can, sometimes, fall foul to deadlines. It was a such a deadline that beat us this week so a new article and video on the work of Leonora Carrington (photo right) will be held over to a future issue. Leonora who you may ask and what relationship to Los Cabos has she? All will be answered next week! Linda Jones Neil kindly sent us an update on an important event. 'AMPI and NAR have forged an important new partnership and working plan for the year 2013. Mexico has been named as NAR Spotlight country for 2013 and will receive a large amount of NAR publicity and promotion. AMPI will send out promotional messages to the entire NAR global membership -80 associations in 60 countries about the benefits of investing in Mexico. AMPI will produce a series of informational newsletters to AMPI members about the benefits or aligning ourselves with such a large global network of real estate professionals. AMPI will produce at least one Webinar about retiring or investing in Mexico, and will host one International Tourism Symposium in Los Cabos June 8 and 9. AMPI will also have a presence at the NAR national convention in San Francisco and work on several exchange and trade missions during 2013, *AMPI will also be reaching out to the Canadian real estate association CREA with similar initiatives.*

Kelly is a Performance Analysis Adviser for 'Own The Podium' and Tiff is a pilot for Costco Wholesale.

I've always been doing some kind of sport related activity since I was young. After moving to Seattle, I became more interested and involved with sports that involved the outdoors and mountains such as mountain biking, snowboarding, and trail running. I started "going long" (endurance events) about 9 years ago when a friend asked me if I wanted to do an adventure race. "Sure" was my answer and we entered a 24 hour race through the Washington Cascade mountains... we barely finished the race in 23 hours and were instantly hooked'
Kelly
'I played lots of team sports growing up but always ran on my own as well to keep fit. I played soccer in my first year of university. I got cut in my second year and went out for the cross country team. Not long after I started running marathons....and then moved to Portland, Oregon. I continued running races, trail runs and started doing triathlons. There was never a shortage of different races to sign up for or trails to explore...and lots of people to do them with'
