Which Four-Legged Creature of Cuteness will Lead the Walkers at the 5?



While you are getting ready for the 5K on Sunday, the following items should be on your checklist:

... bring a water-bottle, check.
... wear sunscreen, check.
... pick up friends, check.
... vote in the Mascot contest!

11 adorable pups are competing to be this year's LFNC mascot at the 5K. But only one will win. Who'll it be? You decide! For $1 per vote, you can vote for whichever contestant you wish, as many times as you wish! So don't wait, vote now!

The deadline to vote is tomorrow, Friday, June 12 at 5 pm Pacific, so don't wait!

Rob Mayeda, NBC anchor and recent Emmy winner, will emcee the 5K. Rob has been a long-time supporter of the Lupus Foundation of Northern California, and was a recipient of a Purple Ribbon Award at our 37th Anniversary Gala this January.




We will also have great entertainment by the Saratoga Sister City Taiko group (pictured left) who will bring our theme - Drumbeat to a Lupus Cure - to life.

On June 14 - at the site of the 5K, a lucky winner will drive away with a brand new 2015 Mercedes Benz. Will it be you?
