Annual Charity Car Drawing
Now that the early birds have flown, the race is on for the brand new 2015 Mercedes. You can support a great cause and have a chance to drive away in style! All instructions to enter and purchase tickets are available here. Tickets may not be purchased online. Each ticket is $75, or you may purchase 3 tickets for $200 or 5 for $300. The drawing will be on Wednesday, April 1. (To ensure that you are included in the Early-bird Drawing, call LFNC at (408) 954-8600 to purchase your tickets, or fax us at (408) 954-8129.

LFNC's Mid-Year Online Auction: Bid and Win While Helping Fund Lupus Programs
This is LFNC's first mid-year auction, but that doesn't mean we are novices at this. The mid-year auction has items ranging from the lupus pin to a hot air balloon ride, from movie tickets to VIP access to Hollywood and everything in between. The auction kicks off on Wednesday, April 15, and you can preview it now.
While you are deciding on what to bid on, keep in mind that the proceeds from these sales will go directly to funding LFNC's programs focused on the northern California lupus community.

Trophies and Medals: What Will You Take Home at the 5K?
 The Annual Lupus 5K is coming up on us soon, and we wanted to give you a glimpse at the medals and trophies. It's a new design, and in addition to medals of the past couple of years for top Run finishers, we have added trophies this year for top teams! Online registration is open for the 21st Annual Run & Walk for Lupus, with the theme "Drumbeat to a Lupus Cure." The annual event will be held on Sunday, June 14, at the West Valley College campus in Saratoga (register here).
Like the past 3 years, this year too we are having a mascot contest. For the past 3 years, you have voted to choose the most adorable puppy with the privilege to be our mascot and lead the walkers at the 5K. This year's contest has started - click here to go straight to voting. |

LFNC Expresses Gratitude to Beta Sigma Phi Northern California Chapter

The LFNC wishes to thank Beta Sigma Phi's Northern California Council for raising $7,849.00 (preliminary figure) for the Lupus Foundation of Northern Califonia at Sunday's Philanthropic Brunch. LFNC Executive Director Rene Astudillo attended the brunch to express gratitude to the longstanding support the sisters at Beta Sigma Phi has extended to us, as well as to give them an update on recent developments in lupus treatment and research.
