Summer Lupus Mini-Conference to answer more of your questions
Got questions about things your or a loved one's risk factors or treatment? Want to stay up-to-date on latest on lupus research? There is no better place to ask and have those questions answered than at one of our semi-annual medical conferences, designed for patients and professionals alike. We have just such a conference coming up on July 12!
Licensed by the State of California to grant 5 CEU credits to attending California Registered Nurses, the conference will be headlined by Dr. Maria Dall'Era of UCSF, who is considered one of the country's foremost experts in lupus.

Patient Education Class - July 26
Are you a newly diagnosed patient? Do you want to learn more about managing your disease effectively on a day-to-day basis? Are you a friend or a family member of a patient who wants to learn how to help your loved one bridge the gap between life with and life without lupus?
If you answered Yes to any of these questions, then the LFNC Patient Education Class is for you.
This fundamental education program is presented by a trained instructor and is designed for lupus patients, caregivers and loved ones.

It was Colleen and Joe Brown this year. Will it be you next year?
When she got the call, Colleen Brown was ecstatic about winning the grand prize in this year's Mercedes drawing. Colleen, who recalls purchasing her tickets at the 5K only after getting on the phone with her husband Joe, recounts almost losing her lucky charm bracelet (a gift from her sister) at the event, until a volunteer at the event found and returned it to her. Needless to say, she felt lucky. And not for no reason, either! Check out Colleen, Joe, and daughter Kira picking up their brand new Mercedes!
Colleen and Joe have supported the Lupus Foundation for the past 15 years.
