19 Years of Runners and Walkers on a Mission

The Lupus Foundation of Northern California concluded its 19th Annual Run & Walk for Lupus successfully on Sunday, June 9. If you were there - whether you ran, walked, volunteered, staffed a booth, entertained or just cheered on your family and friends, please accept our giant thank-you's! We truly could not have done it without you!
And now, some house-keeping items for post-event follow up:
- Results: Did you run? Find your time, or find out who the big winners were, as well as the winners of the team prizes, and the mascot contest - all on our website.
- Photos: Yes, yes, we have photos! Official photos of the event are available via Sparkes an Image, the official photographers of the 5K. Please click here to view or buy photos. Remember that proceeds are donated to LFNC whenever you purchase a photo!
- The counts: This year, 267 runners, 428 walkers, 49 teams, 65 volunteers and 28 vendors and performers came out to support us, along with families, friends and community members.
- The funds: From registrations, individual and team donations, in-kind donations, sponsorships, the raffle-dazzle, and the mascot contest, we grossed an impressive $71,161.83, thanks to you!
In addition to our attendees, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our sponsors - businesses in our community that showed up for us! Three cheers for our sponsors ( a list is available on our website.)!

Congratulations to Nicole Von Raesfeld, Our Mercedes Winner!
On June 9, during our 5K Run and Walk event, we also picked the winner of this year's grand prize in the Mercedes drawing. We congratulate Nicole Von Raesfeld, pictured below.
