As you may already be aware, it's that time of year again to submit your 2013 Annual Renewal for your CWCA, CWS, or CWSP certification. Renewal invoices were mailed out on Monday, November 26. Payment and documentation of CEUs for your Annual Renewal is due by January 31, 2013. Payments received or postmarked between February 1 and February 28 will incur a $75 late fee. Payments postmarked or received between March 1 and March 31 will incur a $150 late fee. Avoid late penalties and renew today! If your annual renewal payment is not received by March 31, your certification will be REVOKED.
As part of your Annual Renewal, you must demonstrate a minimum of six hours of Continuing Education Units in calendar year 2012 in the field of wound management. These hours can be obtained by attending live courses, participating online, or by any continuing education organization. You must document your Continuing Education Units online. Login to the My Certification portal at http://www.portal.abwmcertified.org. Click on the Annual Renewal tab and follow the instructions.
