Coming Home - Transformed

Class 9 students returned from their Transformational Journey on Tuesday, June 25. They spoke at Central Reform Congregation about meaningful experiences that they had during their three-week trip. Since returning, students' experiences have been highlighted in a newspaper article in the St. Louis Jewish Light and on KWMU's radio program, "St. Louis on the Air."

CardinaCardinal Baseballls Game - Aug. 5 

Bring together social justice and baseball. Join Cultural Leadership for a night out with the St. Louis Cardinals! Catch up and cover all the bases with fellow Cultural Leadership alums. Don't make an error; come to Busch Stadium on Monday, August 5, at 6:05pm! RSVP to Maggie by July 25 to reserve your seats. Tickets are $12 each. 

 

College Knowledge Night - Wed. August 7 

Salus Center, Saint Louis University

6:00-8:00 pm

Want to find a school that will support your development in social justice? Come to College Knowledge Night and speak with our panel of experts as they share tips to guide you through this daunting process! Open to everyone in the St. Louis community, not just Cultural Leadership students and their families. RSVP to Gretchen DeMong so we have a chair for you!

 

Courageous Conversations  - Sat. August 24

8:00-10:00 pm

Attend Courageous Conversations, where Class 9 demonstrates their facilitation skills through a series of important, difficult conversations about things we don't normally talk about. Look for an e-mail invitation to the event in early August.
