Earth Day!

This Saturday, April 21st
9:00 AM-1:00 PM

Join forces with other FOVCers, Portland Parks, and SOLV to celebrate Earth Day by helping maintain the natural area at Gabriel Park!

We will be returning to an area that we have worked in previously to continue to maintain it free of invasive plants.  Help remove English ivy, as well as Robert's geranium and a smattering of other invasive plants.  As usual, prizes will be awarded for the longest ivy runner removed!

Please pre-register with SOLV so you don't have to fill out paperwork on Saturday!

 2009 Gabriel Earth Day

Meet at the kiosk near the tennis courts, off SW 45th between Vermont and Multnomah Blvd, and walk together to the work site where we'll focus our efforts.  If you're walking, biking or arriving late, please meet us at the work site, which is the Caldew St. entrance on the east side of the park (west of SW 37th Ave).
