  • The Olvera St Opera.  Really an original opera about the creation of Olvera St on Saturday in Santa Monica.
  • The Hard Core Cider Tour. Get a taste in Pasadena plus live music, games and food trucks on Saturday afternoon.
  • Veteran's Day is coming up and the Battleship Iowa will host a Veteran's Appreciation Day on Saturday in San Pedro.
  • It's going to be beautiful on Saturday so go on location to Franklin Canyon, where numerous movies and tv shows have been filmed, for some Movie Magic.
  • Just Imagine. Saturday and Sunday Tim Piper and his band take you through the life and music of John Lennon in this fantastic show at the historic El Portal in NoHo this weekend.
  • Sunday head to Barnsdall Art Park for some Croquet, Champagne & Oysters.
  • DUBLAB DJ Party at Amoeba Records.  One of the events at the all weekend long Hollywood Music + Arts Festival.
  • Living history at the annual The Blue and The Gray Civil War Reenactment in Thousand Oaks Saturday and Sunday. There will be plenty of battles to witness, but one of the most fun things to do is to wander around the encampments and see how the armies and their camp followers live and worked.
