Some Highlights This Weekend
  • Music, dancing, dinner and dives. The Aquarium of the Pacific stays open late Friday for Noche de Estrellas in Long Beach.
  • Triple Chicken Foot will play two sets at Union Station Friday (4pm and 5pm) as a part of the free Metro Presents program. 
  • Spend Saturday afternoon perusing books by local authors at the Downtown Bookfest in Grand Park.
  • Ten short films, ten live scores, 10 bucks at Helix Collective's Movie Night at Art Share LA on Saturday.
  • The Ingress Anomaly - the world is not what it seems. Battle over exotic matter and explore Pasadena Saturday afternoon.
  • Saturday afternoon support the LA Female Playwrights Initiative at the Swan Day Action Fest in Santa Monica at Bergamot Station. 
  • Bean Art at the LA Zoo Saturday and Sunday. Get a belly full of jelly as a zebra is turned into a mosaic made up of 10,000 Jelly Bellies.
