Twilight Zone or Halloween?

It's going to be a beautiful warm weekend.  BUT will it be warm enough to entice you to take the Polar Plunge into the icy waters of Big Bear Lake?

MORE GOOD STUFF:

SilenceTICKET GIVEAWAY: Win one of 3 pairs of tickets to see "Properties" of Silence" at the Carrie Hamilton Theatre in the Pasadena Playhouse (winner's choice for either Thursday, March 12 or Friday, March 13 at 8 p.m.) Poetry, science and history meld as famed 17th century poet Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz crosses paths with a contemporary realtor and her pool contractor husband. Set in Phoenix, Arizona, Properties of Silence centers around a contemporary couple who meet Sor Juana in a surreal dream landscape inspired by her most significant poem, "Primero Sueño" ("First Dream"). As Barbara and Tom come to grips with their troubled marriage, the Catholic Church is forcing Sor Juana to silence her pen and her scientific inquiries. Properties of Silence features original compositions by vocal artist Julie Adler. Black and white video by Janice Tanaka emulates the Golden Age of Mexican Cinema to underscore Sor Juana's life story. Original prints created by artists from the first Maestra Atelier at Self Help Graphics & Art in tribute to Sor Juana will be displayed in The Carrie Hamilton Theatre lobby. Each performance will be followed by a "Post-Silence" event in tribute to Sor Juana's legacy as the first feminist writer. Email us your favorite female writer at eyespylareviews@gmail.com

After the last retrograde, life should be easier and settling down for most signs. The next few weeks will be a good period for rest and reflection. We'd do better to stick with a routine now. Structure and follow through could free up the upcoming months for sun bathing and fun. Take each day as it comes though and don't plan too far ahead. Stay upbeat and on target with goals. Take pleasure in the simpler activities like a casual get-together with friends. Water and Earth signs should be out and about, while Air and Fire might do better staying close to their home.
