Angels Roll and Stroll Drink and Eat

CICLAVIA takes over the Heart of LA on Sunday.  This event alone is like going to a multitude of street fairs. What started as primarily a bicycle event has evolved into an amazing day where streets are turned into parks for all to enjoy whether they roll or just stroll.

A BOUNTIFUL HARVEST:

OTHER STUFF:

Young FrankensteinTICKET GIVEAWAY: We're giving away 3 pairs of tickets to see the hilarious musical "Young Frankenstein" in Hollywood on Friday, Oct. 11.

The stage adaptation of the 1974 cult film by the Tony Award-winning team of Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan (The Producers), complete with show-stopping numbers, tap-dancing monsters, innuendo and outrageous accents stars Dr. Frederick Frankenstein (excuse me, that's "Fronkensteen") who has inherited his grandfather's Transylvanian castle and laboratory. There, he reanimates a monster and turns the village on its head when his creation turns out to have a mind of his own. Email us at eyespylareviews@gmail.com for your chance to win.

Chris' & Pitt's at Dusk, Bellflower by Charles Phoenix

There's something interesting around every corner, no matter where u go.

And the corner of Bellflower and Artesia Blvds, is no exception. For it is there that, snuggled in the vast sea of suburbia, sits one of SoCal's most precious places. Chris' & Pitt's BBQ. This Bellflower beauty isn't just any old BBQ joint, oh NO! 'Tis the greatest streamline, modern faux log cabin BBQ diner joint on the planet.

The next few weeks will see most signs reviewing their goals and making shifts to their plans. This can be an illuminating period of insight, fortitude and faith. While Air and Earth signs will do best staying in, Water and Fire should be going out and about town. There's an uptick in energy for meeting new acquaintances and potential romantic partners in random, unexpected ways. The need to share our time and energy with others can reconnect old friendships or old flames. We should make an effort to go to fun events with a good pal. Two is one better so play better.
